My husband and I are the 3rd generation in Englewood.. The first 2 came down here during the winter, we are full timers here for 4 years.. I love Englewood because it is a nice quiet town. We are from NC in town, which is a lot like Sarasota just 3 times bigger and 4 times the traffic. One of the things I love is that it is a small town, and if there is anything we want to do, Tampa, Sarasota, or Fortmyers are not that far away. As for the trailers or manual factor homes, they are mostly 55 and older communities that are really safe places.
I was at the englewood beaches and I haven’t seen many “pay here” at the beach. I only seen it at 2 of them and they charge 3$ each beach
I found the “Old Florida” charm of Englewood grew on me. Since I love nature, I really appreciate the unspoiled look. But we will be moving into a gated community in Englewood with lots of amenities, so I guess it won’t really feel too rural for me.
It really is a beautiful area. It's not for everyone, but we do see that it grows on most people after spending more time there. Glad you found the right community and area!
Englewood has a nightlife that's surprising in a good way!
Agreed!
A very therapeutic afternoon is sitting waterside on Lemon Bay at the White Elephant, across from Englewood Beach, watching people float in and tie up at the restaurant's dock, a couple of cold drinks, some mellow music, sometimes a dolphin or two will stop by for a visit. Perfect remedy for a bad day.
That sounds like a great way to unwind 😅
Thanks for the video
No problem!
I really enjoyed this video. I will continue to watch your videos. I will contact you when I decide to look for a home in this area. ❤️
Glad that you liked it! Looking forward to connecting 😃
My Wife and I will definitely give Englewood another shot as we continue to narrow down our search. The last time we rode around that area looking for a more affordable alternative to Venice we were not nearly as impressed as say perhaps North Port or some other areas. Nevertheless we will be back there in November to give Englewood a more thorough look. In fact we are staying in an Air BnB in Englewood so that should make things easier. We REALLY want to make this relocation happen and these types of videos are truly helpful. Thanks
Glad the videos are helping! We're interested to hear your thoughts on the area after revisiting it. 😃

yeah but he’s hardly ever there 💀💀
Is Englewood cycling friendly? Does it have cycling lanes, bike racks etc?
There are some bike racks in parts of the city and some trails and areas that are more bike friendly (like near Dearborn and in different parks), but as a whole I'd say the main roads like 776 aren't super bike friendly.
like chipotle
There’s only 3 ways into Englewood , or by boat
