Last great part of "real" florida, on the east coast ......quiet, quaint, gorgeous.....if u go south, its all traffic & hustle & bustle....north gets cold...... centrally located to tampa, orlando & miami..... BEST PLACE IN FLORIDA! And you cant buy a nice house( 1 mile from Atlantic for that cheap) anywhere for 300,000-400,000... south is double
Absolutely! Florida's east coast truly has its unique charm! It's wonderful to hear how much you appreciate the quiet, quaint, and gorgeous qualities of Vero Beach. Couldn't agree more with how awesome it is being centrally located. Makes it easy to explore all the areas of Florida. Thank you for the comment!! It's clear that you know the secret!!!😁
I understand your concern about traffic. It can be frustrating when a place becomes more congested. It sounds like you value the peace and tranquility of your area. Hopefully, the community can find ways to manage growth while maintaining the qualities that make it special.
You're welcome! I'm glad you found the content helpful. If you have any more questions or need further clarification on anything, feel free to ask. Your feedback is ALWAYS APPRECIATED!
I've lived in Miami for most of my life and my husband was born here. In our upper 50's now and we never go out anymore lol. Vero sounds quiet and peaceful and something that would be great in retirement. We will see what happens in about 10 years from now.
Hey Amy👋🏽 Spot on Vero Beach is definitely a slower pace compared to Miami. We’love be here when you’re ready 😁 Let me know if there is anything you want to know more about.
New comers, be warned that The cost of living is high in Vero. A house that used to sell for $275-$300k in 2020 now sells for $450-$500k. Also, Home insurance has skyrocketed after the last two hurricanes. Traffic here has gotten so bad that we dream of getting out of here during the winter. No disrespect but between the old folks driving 20 mph on a 45 and the Lost & drunk Tourists cutting you off to make that last minute turn makes driving here very risky. When I say “old”, I don’t mean seniors in their 60s and 70s. I mean people in their late 80s, 90s! We have all seen these folks and it is obvious they shouldn’t be driving! Car insurance is also very expensive. If it wasn’t for our Beaches and family, I’d move to another part of Florida.
I can understand your concerns about Vero. The cost of living, housing prices, and increased insurance rates after hurricanes can be stressful. Desantis is working on that issue for us Floridians. Traffic can be frustrating when you're trying to get around town. It's understandable the feeling of being overwhelmed. I think that with all the negatives there are also many positive aspects of living in Vero. The beaches and family are one of the reasons I moved back. Vero Beach does offer a unique coastal lifestyle that can be difficult to find elsewhere. Especially if you are trying to escape the fast pace lifestyle. Vero has a thriving arts community, with museums, galleries, and theaters. The Three Corners is coming here as well, so they are working on providing more youthful activities. I would say definitely not overnight 😂 I appreciate your response and perspective! If you ever need help moving or more info don't hesitate to reach out!
Homes on the Island are 800k to over 2m. Good luck with homeowners insurance plus required flood insurance. Better have some extra spending money if you plan to live in Vero.
Vero Beach is more of an older crowd If your mid aged , Or have young kids There’s nothing for either. They have an old skating rink for kids , That’s about it Young or Mid age There’s not many places to go . There’s a few good restaurants But mostly Chain food restaurants then anything. The beaches are pretty, But most all beaches are pretty
my mom is relocating to Vero Beach from abroad and Im wanting to move near her. Im 32 single work from home. Where would you recommend I move in the general 2-3hr area from her?
@@samuhlm2 Maybe 1.5 hrs south, West Palm beach or a little over an hour North I would say check out Coco Beach. You would really have to view the areas to see what best fits you. Congratulations to you & your family & Welcome to Florida
You're welcome! I'd love to show you what you can get in Vero Beach for $523,000. if you want to shoot me a call or email Cell: 772.924.9173 Email: Alex.RemaxCrown@gmail.com and we can get an idea of what's currently active!
Vero Beach is rather silent when it comes to going out and doing things. You would have to travle but can be fun if you don't mind the traffic and older lost drivers. Other then that I kinda like it here in Vero. People are friendly and cute small stores to shop in. Crime is not as bad as most places in Florida and the storms had not been all that bad the past 7 years. Cost of living has gone up but same as any other state just got to look around and find the right home to call your own. Has far as jobs go I would save before coming here like a lot and look for a job before getting here. If not then any burger fast food stops or car wash will hire you in a heart beat lol we all know they are the place with revolving doors but it's a start for fast cash then work your way around and find the job that fits you. Plz do not come here with out thinking it through first or you will end up with the homeless and I can tell you the homeless help here really don't help at all. For the young party people it is more better to live in Vero and party outside of Vero it's more fun that way so that if you do act foolish you don't end up bringing that home as much and get a room if you do travel just to party never drink and drive.
Vero Beach typically has clear, blue waters, especially in May when the weather is warming up. The water clarity can vary depending on weather conditions and other factors, but overall, yes, it is. Vero Beach is public and open for anyone to enjoy! Excited for you to enjoy Vero Beach! If you have any more questions about your trip or need recommendations, feel free to ask!
Thank you for the feedback! I'll definitely work on improving the audio for better clarity, especially considering our shared experiences with the hearing issues. Thank you for your service too! Not too worried about a lot. Diesel Mechanic thinking of relocating to this area but thinking it's worth reaching out. i don't speak Spanish but a lot of concern over the fact that I do not. Is this area a place I may be able to thrive or not?
Hey 👋 Nothing to worry about, if you are not bilingual. I'm not even though my parents are. There are multiple Diesel Mechanic shops in Vero and Sebastian. When you are ready .. shoot me an email or give me a call. I can give you a list of shops, so you can get an idea of the job market or line something up.
There are over 200+ restaurants in.Vero.
Thank you for your service !
Thank you Janet!

Whatever your reason, please don't move here. There's way too much low end traffic moving here. Please don't add to it.

Great video idea Alex! We love Vero Beach, but it may not be the place for everyone- It's good to know all the Pros and Cons!
Thank you! Exactly love Vero Beach, and every place has its negatives. Life’s all give and take!
Sounds like u r talking more about Florida in general than Vero Beach except for limited nightlife.

Truly a beautiful place if you visit before I’d love to give you recommendations! Feel free to reach out anytime.
Great video Alex! One bug I HATE in this are are the no-see-ums. They are relentless!
Hi there! Thank you! You're right about that. They aren't a fan of me for some reason 😂
Thanks for the video Alex!

Is vero beach water clear ? Or blue I'm going in May and is it public for anyone?

Great info! A little hard to hear though. Might need a lapel mic. I’m a vet like you with tinnitus and hearing issues ;) Thanks for the info!
Thank you for the feedback! I'll definitely work on improving the audio for better clarity, especially considering our shared experiences with the hearing issues. Thank you for your service too! um also this town is boring asf 💀
I hear you! Every town has its own vibe, and it's totally understandable if it doesn't resonate with everyone.
Tell me about it, lived there almost 15 years since was 7. Glad I finally left
Zero beach
Don't move there. Its awful.
Dam he's cute
