So unless he intend to fight to death one day, one day Leon will have to retire and leave the fighting to new generations of fighters like Sherry and Jake. When he retire, Ashley would be the ideal woman to retire and live in peace with. And lastly, if you are into fanfics, I strongly recommend “her guardian Angel” written by Megawrath on fanfiction.net. Best written Leon/Ashley ever!

I don't think Leon is that hung up over Ada any longer and I am thrilled about it. I really don't like Ada all that much and my boy deserves a good gal whom he can trust and who will actually stay by his side. Ada could never give that to him. And whether she likes Leon or not, doesn't matter. It's a fact she manipulated and used him in RE2. Also, while I normally am a sucker for badass chicks, I instantly disliked her condescending attitude when running into her in RE2. Furthermore, her outfit has always made me dislike her too. It at least looks a tad more practical in this one, but I can't take a character seriously who wears something that doesn't match the context of what they're doing, at all. It feels cheap, like it was merely done to make her look 'hot' and yet she is somehow amazing at everything she does without her skanky ass outfit (specially in the previous games) being a detriment. Get outta there with that shit. LOL If she dressed the part for going on a dangerous mission, I may have liked her more. But her skanky outfit in and of itself just shows a level of shallowness (looks over practicality) arrogance (I can do it even if I dress like this) and stupidity (because in reality it would definitely not work out the way it does wearing shit like that.) No true professional taking their job seriously within her line of work that is in their right mind would dress that way. Sure it works out for her, but ONLY because Capcom decided it will, but it truly just makes no logical sense. This is a massive flaw in the character design and I dislike it heavily.

It's kind of funny to see people refuting the ship saying how millions of people "misinterpreted" the intentions of devs with these two, based on what they said about Ashley and Leon. I mean, as if they turned out to be idiots and ended up making games just about yesterday. In re7 Ethan is going to rescue his LOVED ONE and the moments that we can feel as "romantic" between them are practically non-existent, even at some point you have to shoot her 😆. Seriously, if devs didn't want anything to be interpreted as close as "romantic" between these two, they could do many other things different than just edit something about them holding hands. But in the world of gaming stories and especially in franchises like RE with such established banbases, and whose main characters are driven a lot at this point based on fanservice, obviously you can't go there throwing bombs and saying what you got planned in the future, or if your intentions are to test the field with a new couple that is better suited for the new generations (who in the end will be the ones who will consume your content for the longest time, and since Ada and Leon are so popular right now) my way to go would be to play fool and do it subtly, (like they did) and then, depending of the response choose the way to go. With this I am not saying that Ashley and Leon will be endgame in the future, that depends whether or not the devs considered it favorable to develop their relationship beyond this game, but it's funny how people cling so much to things, that even seeing the obvious finds new forms of self-deception.
I can't believe this remake got me to actually like Ashley now. Well, story wise anyway since gameplay wise she got on my nerves. I wish they added more banter and interactions between the two.

I don't think Leon is that hung up over Ada any longer and I am thrilled about it. I really don't like Ada all that much and my boy deserves a good gal whom he can trust and who will actually stay by his side. Ada could never give that to him. And whether she likes Leon or not, doesn't matter. It's a fact she manipulated and used him in RE2. Also, while I normally am a sucker for badass chicks, I instantly disliked her condescending attitude when running into her in RE2. Furthermore, her outfit has always made me dislike her too. It at least looks a tad more practical in this one, but I can't take a character seriously who wears something that doesn't match the context of what they're doing, at all. It feels cheap, like it was merely done to make her look 'hot' and yet she is somehow amazing at everything she does without her skanky ass outfit (specially in the previous games) being a detriment. Get outta there with that shit. LOL If she dressed the part for going on a dangerous mission, I may have liked her more. But her skanky outfit in and of itself just shows a level of shallowness (looks over practicality) arrogance (I can do it even if I dress like this) and stupidity (because in reality it would definitely not work out the way it does wearing shit like that.) No true professional taking their job seriously within her line of work that is in their right mind would dress that way. Sure it works out for her, but ONLY because Capcom decided it will, but it truly just makes no logical sense. This is a massive flaw in the character design and I dislike it heavily.

It's kind of funny to see people refuting the ship saying how millions of people "misinterpreted" the intentions of devs with these two, based on what they said about Ashley and Leon. I mean, as if they turned out to be idiots and ended up making games just about yesterday. In re7 Ethan is going to rescue his LOVED ONE and the moments that we can feel as "romantic" between them are practically non-existent, even at some point you have to shoot her 😆. Seriously, if devs didn't want anything to be interpreted as close as "romantic" between these two, they could do many other things different than just edit something about them holding hands.
But in the world of gaming stories and especially in franchises like RE with such established banbases, and whose main characters are driven a lot at this point based on fanservice, obviously you can't go there throwing bombs and saying what you got planned in the future, or if your intentions are to test the field with a new couple that is better suited for the new generations (who in the end will be the ones who will consume your content for the longest time, and since Ada and Leon are so popular right now) my way to go would be to play fool and do it subtly, (like they did) and then, depending of the response choose the way to go. With this I am not saying that Ashley and Leon will be endgame in the future, that depends whether or not the devs considered it favorable to develop their relationship beyond this game, but it's funny how people cling so much to things, that even seeing the obvious finds new forms of self-deception.

Ashley and Luis really sold the remake story i was constantly wanting to see cutscenes about them... Too bad Luis had to die i hope they bring Luis story too in separate ways and we see Ashley and Leon in some dlc, hell Re 4 remake is selling so well and is so well recieved i think they could expand rhe story with 2 or 3 dlcs with luis an ada story and another dlc with Ashley and leon doing something together some kind of mission together like when ashley said she could be an agent and save the world i mean people are loving the new Ashley capcom could expand the story like the Witcher 3 expansions that people loved.
