I've not seen anyone review these tank compressors, I have bought the Maxitrac compressor with tank.
I hear a lot of good things about maxitrac compressors as well . but how do you like it so far ?
@@DIY_AUTO_PHOTO It certainly pumps my tires up quicker than my Bushranger Blackmax. I also bought a Maxitrac twin cylinder compressor as well, they were both on special.

Would you recommend this unit as a mounted onboard system on a jeep wrangler on 33's wired directly to battery?
Well sir.. that what I used on my Xterra when I had 33s now I am on 35s and STILL use it and it works great ! I made a mod ( have video on that ) where I run wires from the battery to the back and have it mounted there in permanent location and thats what I use with a circuit breaker by the battery ofc

Hi friend, I have the same compressor and it doesn't turn off when you fill the tank and it never turns off as soon as I connect it to the battery it turns on and I press the buttons and nothing happens to you that it turns off? what I do ?
have you tried to adjust the side switch ? try changing its switch position . the swtich have to burn turned on pushed from the top al lthe way in
Can this be run from the 12v onboard?
No.. you might blow a fuse ... its better to go directly to battery unless you run new wires like 4 or 6awg and install new outlet somewhere..

sorry never had an inflator with a tank. what kind of maintenance does it need? considering this but no nothing about air tank. thanks
The only difference would it make is to drain it from air / moisture from time to time thats whey it has drain plug on the side
Does it have a fuse on the cables ?
No there is no fuse on the cables.. . not sure I actually seen air compressors with a fuse...
