Thank you for this informative video. It’s helpful to learn more about the pathway to qualifying and training to become a company/chartered secretary or chartered governance professional. It would be good to note that it’s a profession with global reach and one can take the exams, qualify train and work in a number of countries. Looking forward to more videos.
Hello Ryan thanks for sharing this company secretary video and would love to receive more such information, I have just been appointed to the company secretary role...
Happy to watch this video..specially when its related to your own profession. Being a chartered secretary since 6yrs such videos are very rare to find. Appreciated ur effort! Pls post more videos on it.Thanx!
I have a question, I'm in a Sixth Form in the UK doing a BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma Course (It counts as 3 A levels). I want to become a company secretary in the future God willing. God willing I'll be doing an internship 1 day a week for a year. My question is after sixth form/college where do I go from there to becoming a company secretary? Personally I'd like to start straight away after leaving college
I completed Indian cs course. I like to join this course. Please advise me what shall be the fees, exemption in papers, subjects to be studied. How to apply. Guide me completely Robinson sir
Thank you very much for your enlightenment. I wish to register at lowest entry level. What are the required subjects to be registered. What is the registration fee, exam fee. Which online platform can give me the preparatory lectures to enable me grapple with the Knitty gritty of the profession and career . From INNOCENT AMEH ONOJA
Hi there, Hope you are doing well. You made this beautiful vedio with great contents. Thank you for that. I am planning to set up a private limited company here in UK. I would like to ask you if it is possible to put my spouse as a company secretary and also in the payroll from UK private Ltd company perspective. Best Regards, Syed
Thanks for your comment! I'm glad you enjoyed the video 🙂 Unfortunately I can't give any advice on your specific circumstances, but you might find it useful to know that currently UK private companies aren't currently required to have a company secretary (you can see that under article 270 (1) of the Companies Act 2006 - a quick Google search should help you find it). When it comes to setting up your company, if there are things you're unsure about then you're probably best off speaking with a professional in your area who will be able to listen to all of your requirements / questions and advise you on the best thing to do. I hope that helps!
I recently enrolled into a Company secretary course and am preparing for a Corporate Governance Exam.this was good

Do you need to be a lawyer to do this job?
The position sounds like a Legal and Compliance Administrator or Director. Does it require a law degree?
No
It's a complex role, legal, Management, finance, operations, advisory, consulting, audit, etc everything is done by a CS
No lol
I am invited to an interview for a company secretary. Please assist me with possible questions and answers for the interview

Do you know how many exams you should do at a time? and suggest which topics to do for part 1 the first time?

Is it possible for internationally qualified company secretaries to find job in the uk, can u please make a video on that?
I would visit the UK first before deciding if you want to live there or not. You might have a bit of a shock.
