This is the episode where Matt & Trey realized their fanbase was filled with way more nerds like myself than they had ever thought. They thought this episode was a fail but it is now one of, if not, the most universally well received episode.
My all-time South Park episode never gets old world of Warcraft is awesome I don't care what anyone else says it's still awesome even if it's over 20 years old almost
Imagine where we all would be.....I was rank 2 in D3 one season for most of the season. months of LITERALLY sleeping 3 hours and setting alarms just to grind. dude I could of aced medical school on that determination......
I’m honestly impressed that Cartman did the math for how much xp they need and how long it would take to get. He even factored in 3 hours a night of sleep
I think they were quite scared (Trey more than Matt) because the story arch was somewhat of a departure from their normal style of at the time if I remember correctly.

Well, Cartman could have stolen his mom's credit card. You never know. Although that being said it does tell you that poor people sometimes still have luxuries too, heck i've seen some people in poverty wearing much nicer clothing than myself.
The sublety of Randy sneaking around the entrance to Stan's bedroom is awesome. Pretty sure that's inspired by Adrian in every Rocky montage, especially the Rocky 4 "No Easy Way Out" montage.
"What do you say, guys? You can just...you can just hang outside in the sun all day tossin' a ball around, or you can sit at your computer and do somethin' that matters." A complete opposite of what parents tell their children about leaving a computer and playing with friend outside.
The thumbnail is underrated. They perfectly encaptured UA-cam gaming thumbnails. - Photoshopping the characters on the game's background - Rigid cropping - Thick white outlines to try to cover up the rigid cropping. C'est magnifique.
Did anyone notice at 1:33 the shot shows them from behind after they’ve gained weight playing WoW so much but in the next shot they’re all at their normal weights/appearances? 😂
This whole thing, all the way from the team effort to whole Cartman´s idea is amazing. And with a kickass song no doubt. Go South Park! Love the show and the very episode
I remember this being one of my favorite episodes of South Park when I was younger. I remember wanting to play Warcraft, but never could. Still haven't been able to also.
Make sense Kyle and Cartman are usually supportive of each other when there goals actually align ins some form, another example is when Cartman is the hall monitor, at first he didn't care about the fact Ike was in a relationship with his teacher but that changed when Kyle mentioned they were making out in the halls.
That was literally me when I got my human warrior to level 80 during wrath. The only other time I got any character to max level that quickly was my zandalari paladin during BFA.
I think the craziest thing about this episode is that kenny not only had a computer, but the money to buy the game and pay for a subscription to play. Kinda wild when his financial situation is always shown to be so dire.

When Cartman is focused he's super villain intelligent.
But here’s the thing
He had to have done the math for multiple responses he had the sheet
and he said A night, he meant one night
Its even funnier with time cause now you can buy your way to max level.
the real vanilla r14 grind, really does = about what he said 6 weeks with 4 hours of sleep a night

Insert joke about how Africans can't afford water but have cellphones.
And food too, given how he gained weight with no explanation.
My favorite part is that there is no heating in his house. So he is wearing his parka and mittens that somehow become gloves when playing.
The most iconic moment in this entire episode.
They became the very thing they were trying to destroy
Anyone else feels this episode wholesome and heartwarming? One of the few times (if not only) when Cartman genuinely cared about his friends.
Shout out to the killer soundtrack from Paul Stanley of KISS.

Technically he said hes a paladin!

I remember this being one of my favorite episodes of South Park when I was younger. I remember wanting to play Warcraft, but never could. Still haven't been able to also.

When in reality, it's only 18,058 boars to reach max level.

There's also the Junior Detectives one!
When the boys are leveling up their characters, wouldn't the griefer be leveling up *his* character, too?
His over confidence would be his downfall.
What if he was already max level?
