  • A walkthrough tour of a recently completed rough in with an overview of the roof raise, exterior modifications, systems, and design layout.
    This bus features a 16" roof raise, new dual pane RV windows, full spray foam insulation, 2,640 watts of solar, 17.4kwh of battery storage, 200 gallons of freshwater, 165 gallons of grey, an on demand water heater, 2 Espar diesel heaters, a 12,000btu minisplit, and a washing machine--it is ready to be finished out by the clients and spend its life providing off grid shelter!
    My name's Chuck, I've been professionally converting buses for the last 7 years and was director of operations for a bus company before that.
    IN THIS VIDEO, I'll give an in-depth tour of the best bus we've made yet, covering the systems, design, and features of this top of the line conversion.

    I'm wanting to get out in the communities where people have lost everything and pass out Bibles and cook chili praise God and sing and I need a bus so they can have showers and they can eat and I can cook them food and you know hug them and travel around helping people that are hurting I wish I had the ability to do with this man's doing with tears running down my face if I had the ability to make a bus that would drive out and just bless people and help them that's all you know God's asking me to do I just don't know how I'm going to get the bus but when I watch these little videos it warms my heart thinking you know Jesus I'm believing for it I'm believing and I'm expecting a bus and so when I watch him it just fills my heart with joy overflowing thinking one day you have God's going to let me get out there and help people because I'm qualified I've read the word of God I've studied and chewed and studied chewed on his word and you need to get out there and cook for people and tell them how good Jesus is his beautifully and wonderfully made and he's the best of the best in the world he answers prayer I can tell you so many stories of my own family members overcoming addictions and I'm a caregiver for some of my loved ones but being an overcomer by the blood of the Lamb

      I would have to agree with the way you build so many safeguards into the builds you do. Wow you blew me away with what the finished price would be and what this partial build cost. How much does the average short 5 window schoolie that you build cost finished? I'm also sorry to hear that you're closing shop but I don't even know where that is or was...lol

    Man you build some beautiful stuff. My first bus was in 1976, we bombed around the country on the bicentennial year with my wife and I, another couple, a friend, a basst hound and a doberman. We also had a 750 Norton. Had a ball. Also built another bus in 1999, 40' with a 3126 cat. Have lots of pics of that one.
    Watching your videos gets me Jonesing for one more, I am 71 years old and just dumb enough to do it again.
    Just finishing a 24' cargo conversion with 9.5' cielings. Selling soon to do ...... another bus.

    Such a great walk through Charlie! I'm really glad I left access to the fuel tank door, it appeared to me that it made servicing the pump and sender possible without dropping the tank.
    I wish I'd seen this before I ran the subfloor, I didnt think to run diesel heater lines like that 🤦🏼‍♂️. Such a good idea. Maybe I can tap into the top from under the bus. I'd guess that's a million times more efficient than using the minisplit for heat

    • @ChuckCassadyYT
      @ChuckCassadyYT  2 роки тому +2

    What was that waterproof board you used in the shower? We need to waterproof our shower soon and if that is easier than red guarding the plywood that we have, and then covering the red guard/plywood with a vinyl or something, then we may go with that. Having the type of board spelled out will make it easier to find at home Depot.

    • @ChuckCassadyYT
      @ChuckCassadyYT  2 роки тому +11

      It is wedi board, if your shower is already plywood, I'd use their 1/8" thick product

    I'm going to ask TD Jakes to talk to this Cassidy and in Jesus name know that sometimes you got to just go out and buy something for somebody because they know what they're supposed to be doing but they just don't have the bus and I need to go out in the dirty places and help the people that are hurting and that's what I've been trying to do these 18 years I've been studying the word so I can help people and I've had adversity come against me and I've overcome addictions and my son's overcome addictions and health problems and prayer and just keep going and now that I'm getting a little older and wiser I need to get out there and help other people I need a bus you need to cook chili pass out Bibles and close let some homeless people watch up and clean their cells up give them hope and your words and your prayers but you know that this is God's will he'll bring it to me it's not my will it's his will be done on Earth as it is in heaven as we forgive those who trespass against us it is not into temptation but Deliver Us from Evil for God is the kingdom and the power and the glory

    You chared over 65k for that? What did you do bill them for a thousand hours of labor? That's kind of hard to now after gutted. 5 day's of work cost 65k. No wonder your Business went belly up.

    I want you to know you've ruined all other skoolie videos for me.
    I just tried to watch several, and spent the entire time shaking my head, muttering "no, no, no, that's not the way Chuck does it!"
    Thanks a lot.
    Ruined 'em.
    🤨You did.
