"For No One" is a song by the English rock band the Beatles from their 1966 album Revolver. It was written by Paul McCartney, and credited to Lennon-McCartney. A baroque pop song[1][2] about the end of a relationship, it was one of McCartney's most mature and poignant works upon its release. Mostly performed by the composer, the track is distinguished by its French horn solo, performed by Alan Civil and used as counterpoint in the final verse. This is from Wikipedia so it may or may not be accurate but no matter because my original comment was solely to compliment the keyboarding of the “horn” part in the REO Brothers excellent cover of this beautiful Beatles song.

I don’t understand how anyone could dislike this. It’s genuinely insane, especially just the live value of it. All of this, live. The amazing horn and other FX added just makes it so amazing
As a 66yo semi-retired saxman session player, it does my heart good to see young musicians that still care in an era of ProTools, click-track quantized-to-death, 4-chord bullshit! It’s all about the nuance. Keep on keepin’ on!
This confirms my belief that sibling groups are always heads and shoulders above the rest. This level of perfection is just not attainable in a normal band setting. Siblings spend their life together practicing in addition to sharing genes. The Everly Brothers, the Carpenters, The Beach Boys, The Bee Gees, the Andrew Sisters, the list goes on and on but the one thing they have in common is the tightness of their harmonies and razor perfect timing. It also helps to be gifted musicians.

The only good thing about Covid is that I discovered REO Brothers. They make me smile, clap, cry and just marvel at their individual talent, what a family!
I turn 70 in a couple of days so I grew up with the Beatles. They and The Beach Boys (I lived 8 mi from Huntington Beach and I surfed) WERE MY WORLD. I say this because I want to tell you one thing. You are, BY UNTOLD MILES, the BEST Beatles cover band. You actually sound better than they did live. They were more of a studio band which was reflected in their later recordings which was impossible to duplicate live. Keep up the GREAT work.
These guys are truly amazing. I also, at age 67, grew up listening to The Beach Boys and The Beatles. My #1 and #2 favorite bands of all-time. I still have dozens of 45's and 33's from the 60's and can truly say that the Reo Bros. do fantastic covers of many bands.
Hey Mark your music taste fits mine.....only one remark.: try the ANalogues for Beatles covers, they play with the original instruments (that is why they are named Analogues) and play the (6) albums that the Fab Four never played live. As a Beatles fan my advise is ua-cam.com/video/sCbZ15JpxPg/v-deo.html Cheers!
I came here only to hear the piccolo trumpet solo; I thought it wouldn't work, but I was wrong, it was amazing! You all are great musicians! Congrats from Brasil!
I grew up listening to the Beatles in the 60s and brought every album, I was a fanatic. Guys, that was a fabulous rendition of Penny Lane, so I'm looking forward to you doing other material of theirs.
I don't know why I ever doubt these guys, especially after watching their knock out version of Bohemian Rhapsody. But, here again, they've blown me away. I was half expecting them to bottle out of the trumpet solo. How wrong (and glad to be so) I was! 😉😉👍👍🎹
These brothers are individually stunningly talented! And RJ (keys and lead vocals), a self-taught all around musician who passed on his skills to his brothers and started the band, is the musical genius in the family.
No one comes close to the BEATLES, but these lads did an amazing live stream performance. Even the Beatles did not perform this song live! This is by far the closest cover. Bravo, REO Brothers!
@@juntumlos4444 this Band got the vibe and magic I've seen the analogue yes they are good but when I've seen them once i didnt feel an urge to watch them again with the same song unlike REO
Martan LaCroix It’s amazing their keyboard can replicate that sound. I wonder if they sampled it? Or tune it to that sound? I really have no knowledge about electric keyboards.
Any sound can now be produced by a person with a digital keyboard or other midi controller. Even a 200 dollar casio can do convincing trumpets . Still takes skill to play well.
I was once a bass player of a music ministry and my admiration to this bass player is so high, so amazing. Playing keys at a very complicated notes while singing requires a gifted skill to perform & this boy makes it so easy. I enjoy listening to REO brothers and praying that they soon reap good fortune from doing good music.

What a talent. My late grandmother was the Beatles fan. I regret than I didn't show this to her until she passed away on 27th of December last year. I will missed her forever. I love her so much.
I am filipino we hardly impress by our own fellow singers because singing is our ordinary hobby but when i heard this lads my fellows i am so amazed and impressed to the bones....... Thank you UA-cam for the great discovering talent from you!
A few months ago I asked my 6 year old granddaughter if she knew who the Beatles are. She just looked at me with a surprised look on her face and said "of course grandpa".
It seems to me The Beatles will be well covered for at least next 20-30 years. Excellent job on the trumpet solo. Hats off. And also on the Paul's Lennonesque voice.

The only good thing about Covid is that I discovered REO Brothers. They make me smile, clap, cry and just marvel at their individual talent, what a family!
I'm a 67 year old man and my eyes are wet. Amazing.
60 years a Beatle fan and I dislike other bands playing their music, but your rendition is so close to the original, it’s eerie. Well done lads.
I couldn't agree with you more :)
Mark Field nice words
These guys are truly amazing. I also, at age 67, grew up listening to The Beach Boys and The Beatles. My #1 and #2 favorite bands of all-time. I still have dozens of 45's and 33's from the 60's and can truly say that the Reo Bros. do fantastic covers of many bands.
Hey Mark your music taste fits mine.....only one remark.: try the ANalogues for Beatles covers, they play with the original instruments (that is why they are named Analogues) and play the (6) albums that the Fab Four never played live. As a Beatles fan my advise is ua-cam.com/video/sCbZ15JpxPg/v-deo.html
Cheers!
I have seen lots and lots of groups covering The Beatles, but REO brothers is the best. You have to make a living on that
very nice. wonderful. I hope yea, one day I have the opportunity to go to Philippines, and meet you, guys.greetings from Indonesia.
I came here only to hear the piccolo trumpet solo; I thought it wouldn't work, but I was wrong, it was amazing! You all are great musicians! Congrats from Brasil!
See their Earth wind and fire (September/Let's groove) cover
100% me too. I was like, "No way it's going to work." ..... Guy has skills!!
Kkj, isso memo.
Oh yeah..Isn't fantastic?
Yup,Great musicians . Considering that they don't have formal music education. Pure talent.
Spellbinding. Great job, gents.
So true !!
I grew up listening to the Beatles in the 60s and brought every album, I was a fanatic. Guys, that was a fabulous rendition of Penny Lane, so I'm looking forward to you doing other material of theirs.
B R A V O !!!!! B R A V I S S I M O !!!!!
The better performance i ever see of this song !!!!
Hugs from Brazil !!!
I don't know why I ever doubt these guys, especially after watching their knock out version of Bohemian Rhapsody. But, here again, they've blown me away.
I was half expecting them to bottle out of the trumpet solo.
How wrong (and glad to be so) I was! 😉😉👍👍🎹
Perfect awesome performance..almost same as the original from the Beatles they nailed it..👍👍🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😂🤗🤗🤗
It's the first song I've heard from your band. Great. Now I will listen to all the others. Hello from Russia!
Não tem jeito kkk
THE BEATLES FOREVER....
This is insane, thank you
Wonderful. I’m 65 and you did that beautifully.......I was there so I should know.
Unbelievably talented.
It's the best Beatles I have heard
OMG!!!one of my fav beatles song...brings back memories...hitback!!!
I think it's awesome how the bassist sings the tenor/falsetto parts. This was great!
THAT is the best cover of PL. Not sure how many bands can pull that one off. It does not sound like an “oldie”, nice job, boys!
Try watching also The Analogues. They are one of the best Beatles cover bands and they have that cover too.
@@juntumlos4444 this Band got the vibe and magic I've seen the analogue yes they are good but when I've seen them once i didnt feel an urge to watch them again with the same song unlike REO
@@juntumlos4444 , agreed, The Analogues do a great job too... however, they have at least 10 musicians on stage!
@@mnt7526 indeed i thought the same too
That's what I call PERFECTION.
great musician and singers
I could listen over and over and over again sounds beautiful would be a pleasure to be sat ther live watching you guys play
THE PICOLO TRUMPET SOLO 🔥 🔥
Martan LaCroix It’s amazing their keyboard can replicate that sound. I wonder if they sampled it? Or tune it to that sound? I really have no knowledge about electric keyboards.
@@garysandiego yes, a function in other e.keyboard called "Split" which you can play different tones between left and right hand
Any sound can now be produced by a person with a digital keyboard or other midi controller. Even a 200 dollar casio can do convincing trumpets . Still takes skill to play well.
Excelente grupo. Thanks for sing that song and all you do
I was once a bass player of a music ministry and my admiration to this bass player is so high, so amazing. Playing keys at a very complicated notes while singing requires a gifted skill to perform & this boy makes it so easy. I enjoy listening to REO brothers and praying that they soon reap good fortune from doing good music.
Love this lot- So unforced and respectful. They even get the Liverpudlian "coosterman " just right
This is absolutely a perfect rendition of "Penny Lane." Thank you for performing this beautiful Beatle music from my youth. Truly love it!
Yep... perfect!
Watching in my yard enjoying Filipino Beatles sound with REO music collections . Thank God I am senior citizen I have time to relax and just enjoy your beautiful well blended voices plus the instruments you use sounds very original Beatles just pure talent gift from Jesus . God Bless you guys as a mother and grandma I wish the best of success in your chosen career .Always rewinding your songs in You Tube.🌹🌺💐🌷👌
I'm speechless. Could have sworn i left my jaw somewhere on the floor...
Good lord , it’s Paul jr. theses guys are incredible. They don’t miss anything . Rock on
What just happened?!? I’m absolutely blown away !!!!
What an incredible bunch of young men. Not just the Beatles, they can do America, the Bee Gees and many more. So talented.
One of the best bass lines ever. Well done, boys!
Now that we are no longer living in an apartment, I can now crank it up!! I will now alter the lyrics just a bit for this comment:
REO Brothers are in my ears and in my eyes....
Fantastic job guys, I can't thank you enough for helping all of us out during this global madness. You make the world a better place!
What a talent. My late grandmother was the Beatles fan. I regret than I didn't show this to her until she passed away on 27th of December last year. I will missed her forever. I love her so much.
The bass… so clear and with purpose. Great!
Perfect!
This proves that The Beatles surpass time, space, race, belief and everything else that restrains us...
I am filipino we hardly impress by our own fellow singers because singing is our ordinary hobby but when i heard this lads my fellows i am so amazed and impressed to the bones....... Thank you UA-cam for the great discovering talent from you!
precisely indeed
I,m a huge Beatle fan and your version is excellent, well done indeed.
The amount of talent in this group is insane. Awesome job!

A few months ago I asked my 6 year old granddaughter if she knew who the Beatles are. She just looked at me with a surprised look on her face and said "of course grandpa".
1966 maybe, 1964 but 1960? Hahaha
You mean Strawberry Fields Forever I hope.
Impressed of the trumpet on the original song decades ago and now impressed again of the keyboard man copying that well. Thanks.
It seems to me The Beatles will be well covered for at least next 20-30 years. Excellent job on the trumpet solo. Hats off. And also on the Paul's Lennonesque voice.
Iztok Golob I disagree, more like 200-300 years😊
Bach and Mozart are still being covered today, so....
One of their better Beatle covers...great job!
still with the combined talents.. i can see Ralph going further with the masses. One talented, sensitive soul. the next 2 years will be interesting..
