I've tried this opening on my chess app and after forking the queen and rook, instead of taking the knight, it just moved the queen and let me have the rook, but I still harassed it to death. It doesn't seem to work anymore, or I've forgotten the moves.
@@tonybarfridge4369 Share the pgn of your game so that we can take a look. NB: If at all you really won a free knight, you should have ended up winning the game.
@@kaspachessofficial Sadly I'm quite inexperienced and don't know how to do that. I can't save or retrieve any of my games which is frustrating in itself. I did win the rook, and also the queen and other pieces before winning that one.
Wow, just a quick sharp video commentary you give us. By the way, you say you dont want to waste your time. Dude you are doing us a favor by not wasting our time. This is compact and gold
I've been watching different chess channels since 2015. But this one is very instructive, straightforward, crystal clear, a must watched especially for the beginners and intermediate. Great tutor.
Hi GM Kaspa, I truly admire your Mastery of your Chess education. I respectfully called you a Grand Master because your wealth of Chess education is immensely impressive. I have subscribed to your channel and will always follow you. My level is only 1100 and I'm striving to hit 1500... Thanks brother 🙏 💙
I’ve been doing variations of this all my life. I have always intuitively known that a king without that pawn or the ability to castle is a huge advantage
These are awesome videos! My game has been toying with respectability, but still lurching in the gutter. I'm stuck at about 1300, hope this breaks it open for me. Thanks a million!
Awesome stuff kaspachess cant believe ive only just discovered this channel and also your accent cracks me up its brilliant especially when u say A 8 😅
first time watching your videos and i think i will subscribe as you gave out some very good advice. look forward to watching more of your videos. keep up the good work
hi Kaspachess, under your "with the scotch gambit" segment of this video (starts at 8 minutes 49 seconds), you discuss the permutations and eventual checkmate moves of the Bishop C4 checked F7 square black king moving to E8 and E7 (which I have studied- thanku), but you don't in this video discuss the permutations of other moves that the black king can take. You say at the end of the segment that you have already made a video of this "unknown gambit" I have looked for this video under your channel but cannot find it- I want to study the other moves that the Bishop C4 checked F7 black King can make. Where can I find it? Perhaps if you paste a reply with the link? Great work thanku for the most digestible simple chess explanations. You are a gifted teacher. Keep it up.
"OK now that you are an intermediate chess player you don't drop pieces, you know the essential tactics, understand endgame basics and have some opening theory under your belt. The next thing you're going to need to study is how to punish people who sacrifice on f7 and f2 so you don't get discouraged and quit." - My chess teacher.
I did subscribe but once again like every other chess video channel I have seen the very first game I played (this time against the Scandinavian defense) my opponent did not make a move that was covered in the video. In this case after I moved my pawn to D3 my opponent didn't take and instead moved his pawn to E5 (from E7 to E5). It's incredible how this happens in every single game that these videos cover.
Hi, thank you for subscribing 💌 The whole purpose of gambits is "QUICK DEVELOPMENT + PIECE ACTIVITY", not necessarily trying to win fast. So, if your gambit gets declined, never loose hope. You should aim at developing all your pieces as quickly as possible, before your opponent wakes up. Watch out for the next video on how to continue playing declined gambits. Thank you!
In the regular chess the sac on f2, f7 is rare and mostly ungrounded. But if you ever played bug house, then if your opponent manages to take your f pawn then you're toast. Your main goal starting 'bug house' game is to protect your f pawn.

My chess teacher said i need to learn how to punish people who use their knight to fuck your queen and your rook
Nice one sir more video please
Great content!!
Love the way you pronounce “forking”!
How is it supposed to be pronounced? Maybe sharing will help....
@@kaspachessofficial he’s forking pronouncing like a g.
@@kaspachessofficial You are (accidentally?) making fork sound like fuck and forking sound like fucking, and it's hilarious! Great video though!
Number 9 scotch Gambit can you please make full video with all prediction moves on it

You are not of this world, amazing.

Thanks for this good video my brother
Make a video about Tower Attack 1.a4 a5 2.Ta3
Sure, I will!
It’s good and interesting 👍 thanks
Very informative
Thankyou so much sir really helpful to me
I, as black, never take the e4 pawn on move 2. Instead, I play 2....e5, the Elephant Gambit by transposition.
Black is unconformable with so many pieces, so he will sac his queen in this line.
In the regular chess the sac on f2, f7 is rare and mostly ungrounded. But if you ever played bug house, then if your opponent manages to take your f pawn then you're toast. Your main goal starting 'bug house' game is to protect your f pawn.
thanks. I want to improve my chess game. This can really help.
Oooops, you are genius
Very good Kaspa!!
Very very good! But I wish you would show black's best moves as well.
I fooking get it.

Brilliant idea,,, now i can play better,,, thanx man👍

Great chanel thank you
You are welcome. Much love!
That's an awesome tutorial! Thank!
Mind blowing... Bro..
Excellent video sir.
Wow, brilliant!
I'll save the rest of this video, good luck setting traps!
After 3 ... Bf5 Black gets a great advantage of material and position. I don't recommend anyone to play this way.
Thanks for a great video!!
Really nice and to the point work 👏 👍
Just subscribed..
Don't you think about giving deeper look for the side lines in the links?
I do think about that. I'm dropping something extraordinary for you guys very soon.
Thank you for your love and support ❤️
the next example with 3...-Bf5,4Nc3-Nf7,5Bc4- and now Bg6! 6f3-exf3,7Qxf3-c6! and again White is in a lost position!
Forking the Queen
Awesome video. I'm a new fan!

Awesome explanation ,!
I wish I could get away with his pronunciation of "....forking the Queen ". Gives me the "chuckles" every time.
