After watching this video, I think I have found my new purpose. I am a lawyer in the Philippines currently based in Ontario. Hopefully, one day, I will be an instrument in helping people like Fedelina. Although I hope na wala ng Filipino that is being trafficked.
Naiinis ako sa family hindi an lang pumunta sa radio like Jessica soho..ngayon may PASALI SALITA PA HYZZZZZZZ ang saya dahil naka TRAVEL HA HA HA 😂😂😂😂😂😂
So much pain..in tears n grieve...a beautiful...kind-hearted "lola Fedelina"thought it was just normal to be treated rudely all her life with no complaines..she didnt hve the chance to know her rights..as a human..and even aftr she was rescued n faced her traffiker at court..instead being put behind the bars...she forgave...shows her longlife loyalty...My big respect to you po...u must be an Angel...on earth n now so in heaven..now u are free n everlasting happiness up there...❤❤❤❤
Spoiler alert ‼️ guaranteed to make you cry if you have a heart ❤️ so don’t watch until you have some tissue/ napkins. Nanay Fedelina is an epitome of courage and forgiveness. She may be gone, but her good deeds will be remembered. I would love to see a movie adaptation of her story because I think that would pave way for raising awareness of human trafficking not just for Filipinos around the world, but also citizens of other countries all over the world, and also as tribute to her one of a kind life story. Well done to all who helped her, to the PWC team, the FBI, the Philippine consulate and others, the nursing care facility, and to her own family who made her happy, felt loved and cared for before her untimely demise.
In the end, she was very forgiving. She showed kindness instead of vengeance to the person who trafficked and maltreated her for most of her life. I personally cannot do what she did. Rest in Heaven, Nanay Fedelina.
Sorry po nagulat Ako nklgay Kasi 65 yrs mula Nung nging slave sya s family n un s US. Anyway, sana po this docu will help many people to open their eyes to be aware about human trafficking
God is good and loved! Nanay Fedelina we love you po pero ang Dios ang unang nagmahal sa iyo, 35 year din diko nakita ang family ko sa Ilocos Sur Philippines. Your story inspired all of us.
Was moved by the story. I realized that my aunt in the US might had the same case, coz she was brought to US by a family from the Middle East who never processed her papers. She considered herself TNT (undocumented) for years till she had the chance to process her documents on her own till she obtained citizenship. It's only now that I have become aware after watching this documentary. Many thanks to this program of ABS. God bless!
My question is... Where is the remainder of the family Cox? Say their names! It is impossible they didn't know what was going on. All I read is that they don't want to talk to the reporters or the newspapers. These accomplices should be exposed. They don't deserve to walk out like nothing happened. This family should be held accountable for their actions, for supporting such a horrible behavior for decades, and saying nothing, and treating Fedelina in such inhumane way. Rest in peace, Lola Fedelina!
@@mothercindy6522 Yes, it was mentioned there, but also, there are other people from her family that were mentioned without names, and according to one of the newspapers, they are declining to comment anything further. What is ironic is that their names are not shown anywhere whatsoever, and I think it is fair these people are held accountable as well.
A classic case of Stockholm syndrome and resilience. Nanay Fedelina showed us the true meaning of forgiveness and unconditional love to one's lifelong tormentor.
Not really "Stockholm Syndrome" because had she "known" that she can leave without repercussions, she would have done that a long time ago. Unfortunately, the trafficker took advantage of Nanay's ignorance..
ARUUUJUSCUU may pastockholm syndrome ka pa nasasabe jan....kung tutuusin her story is so much like AGAPE highest form of love; naandun na yung sacrificial LUV at unconconditional LUV. 🤗🤗🤗❤❤❤
Shedding tears all throughout watching this documentary 😭😭😭 I think nanay Fedelina had a "stockholm syndrome" where a victim developed a psychological bond with the captor. Nevertheless, we can all learn from nanay's strong resilience and kind heartedness. Thank you sa nurse na nakapansin na there was something wrong, FBI, social services, and the whole Filipino community who fought for nanay's freedom to live the wonderful life she deserves and got to see her family before she passed. Rest in Peace eternally, nanay Fedelina. Thank you, ABS-CBN for this documentary!!! Grabe ang puso ko 😢💔
A filipina taken to US by a filipino family...was abused for the longest time( almost her whole life)..and was rescued and loved by her fellow filipinos + social workers in the USA.....what a big heart you had!
Kudos to the filipino community there in L.A., USA. You have done a great job to our fellow filipinos. Fedelina is blessed and you are a blessing to her. She has a forgiving heart despite what happened to her for that long years of sufferrings. She is the best example of a strong, kind, courageous and resilient person. Though she's gone she will never be forgotten. Surely fedelina is in God's hand in heaven enjoying a more joyous life. Godbless !❤
Hmmm.....parang gsto kong handogan si Lola Fedelina ng song na 'Tanging Yaman'...the price of Martyrdom is kinda like that sa kanila ng lahat diretso na sya langit nyan.
Her family should consider filing a lawsuit against the relatives of Ms. Cox. Just wondering if the children of Ms. Cox and subsequently their own children have no idea what is going on.

Literally bawling my eyes out rn :'(( how is it possible that she remained kind and forgiving after all those decades of torment? I'll never be as good as you, Nanay. You're the most amazing person I've ever known. May you rest in paradise and have an eternal peace.
This bring me a lot tears more than any soap opera out there. RIP Nanay Fedelina, you are a true hero. To all the Filipino community that has helped Nanay Fedelina in LA, may you continue to be blessed so that you can helped more of our Filipino workers there who maybe facing the same situation. I am very proud of all of you and thank you for not giving up on checking and helping Nanay Fedelina despite that she has refused to open up the first time you reached out to her. Thank you sa Tyaga at pagsubaybay nyo sa kanya. If only I am based in LA, I would like to help too as volunteer or in any possible way that I can be of help. I just realized that this is what I am passionate about...helping people and the community. God bless you all for all the things you've done.❤
Thank you to everyone who helped her in so many ways. Her freedom may have been short but she was filled with so much love. She showed us what pure love is. Thank you Nanay Fedelina! You are God's loving gift to all of us!
Heartbreaking, raw, and soul mending. Lola Fedelina's story defines what it really means to forgive and to be kind. Rest in paradise lola Fedelina, may you continue to spread ur kindness no matter where u are. ❤
cant stop crying after watching her story 😭 Lola Fedelina has a pure heart. In the end, she was forgiving and showed compassion, kindness and love to those people who abused her. Salute you Lola. Such a strong person.❤
Grabe ang tears ko dito sobrang bait ni Nanay Fedelina un sacrifices niya walang halagang katumbas un , but then Lord call Nanay Fedelina her time is over and after the pain there is a paradise waiting for Nanay. So inspiring this documentary i salute all of you 🫡🙏
Heaven gained another ANGEL!❤ She had such a pure heart and a gentle soul to have forgiven the people who robbed her “life” away from her that easy and not even having a single grudge towards them. You are an inspiration Nanay! Dakila ka! May your sweet soul rest in eternal peace! This is Pinoy spirit like no other. Sana marami pa kayong matulungan. P.S. Wala manlng warning, kelangan pala magtabi ng isang box ng tissue habang nanonood nito!😢
Omg gosh. Di ako Maka move on kasi indi sia nakauwi, grabe ang iyak ko. Pero I believe she is happy with our Father in Heavens arm ❤❤❤ Thank you for all the people who helped her ❤❤❤
She is a modern saint. Purest heart. Rest easy Lola Fedelina. With your story I’m will definitely be more forgiving to everyone and most specially to those who have hurt me
And I thought I was kind hearted but all I wanted to do is piss on that grave. She brought her flowers!!! Nanay Fedelina, your heart is bigger than the ocean. Rest in peace. Now you are truly free.
THANK YOU for this story FEDELINA.. SHE IS THE EPITOME OF THE REAL MEANING OF HUMILITY.. ❤ Daming luha pumatak . But a great LESSON LEARNED STORY...❤❤❤❤
"Kaya kayo lumaban daw " e sya nga di pinakulong yung nang abuso sa kanya. Magalit na kayo sakin pero naiinis ako sa mga taong di lumalaban sa mga taong di dapat mabuhay sa mundo. Kaya maraming nang aabuso.
This is the type of story that needs to trend. Very moved by the purest and sincerest heart there is of Fedelina. It made me appreciate the people around me. Thank you. Rest in power and kindness, Fedelina. ❤
As Im watching this, i made a wish and prayer to myself na "Sana magkaroon ako ng puso na kagaya ni Nanay Fedelina. Pusong mapagkumbaba at mapagpatawad🙏🙏. Rest In Eternal Paradise Nanay
Napakabait na tao ni Nanay Fedelina. Rare ang ganitong ginintuang puso. I just wish she had more time with her family. Rest in peace, Nanay Fedelina. Isa kang inspirasyon, isa kang bayani ❤
The case of this brave phenomenal woman leaves me in two pieces: inspired and more determined. Thank you for your pure heart Nanay Fedelina. You are one in a million kind of a human being.
This is almost like a film. Very good approach in story telling and documentary film making. Very different from the raw documentaries from GMA, which I also really like.
It's not what station showed or film a story,it's who the editor and who is the director😊 haha alisin na Kasi ang comparison, diyan Tayo nagsasabihan Ng crab mentality eh😊😊 can we just say wow!
This hurts my heart so much. Grateful that she was saved and was given two years to enjoy her freedom and see her family. Shame on Benedicta Cox family (4 generations) who enslaved and maltreated her. I hope this Cox family is marked for a long time for the slavery they did against Lola Fedelina.
Nanay Fedelina has a very kind heart. Ever forgiving despite the pain and suffering she received. I just watched this docu and I cried a lot. She's with the Lord now. Her soul rests in peace.
I'm a man! but as a man that raised by her lola and lolo. It breaks my heart! I love you lola Fedelina! May god be with you always! hope your family can have a better life in US. you deserve all the blessing in life lola. WE FILIPINO's Love you!!!!1
This is so heartbreaking but at the same time very inspiring. She was enslaved by a Filipino family but was saved by another Filipinos who became her family. 🤍🤍🤍
Very inspiring story of Nanay Fedelina. You have won the race. Kudos to all the people who took part in her rescue and the Filipino Community. You all are a hero. Mabuhay po kayo🙏 more power
She's Really is an Angel ! Very Selfless Human being , this story makes me so emotional , Grabe iyak ko . Despite of all she been through and experience. Dearly Nanay you truly belong Heaven wish we all be instrument to help people no matter what the situations is the meaning of life is to serve Humanity .
Grabe this is so beautiful.. God bless to all the kababayan who help Lola.. her life experience and her compassion , forgiveness.. it's I'm out of words... God will bless you nay..it may not be in this life but in another...
Nanay Fedelina has pure heart. She chose to forgive her trafficker. Her story is a wake up story to every filipino in U.S. . Thanks for the Filipino community specially the nurse who helped her. The story is so touching I can't help to cry.
I was in tears watching the documentary of nanay Fedelina.(watched it just now June 6, 2024 )May you Rest in Peace nanay Fedelina. -- Watching from Australia
as i was watching this documentary im trying to find out what did her family in the philippines did to look for her, for the last 40years have they done anything to find her? i dont want to sound judgmental but if they really care for her as they portray in this documentary did they tried to report her missing to any government agency?or did they do anything to locate her?i dont see any part in the documentary of any effort from her family to atleast find her im sorry but they could have done something..maybe just maybe nanay fedelinas suffering didnt went this long.
Mabait is different from unlearned, abused, and brainwashed. Hindi ako saludo kay Nanay. Naaawa ako sa kanya. FBI and Filipinos involved were wrong in their ways. Kelangan pa nila pakiusapan. Dapat dinampot nila yung trafficker. They are so lame.
Dami niong ebas
I am so blessed to have come across this documentary. I can't help not to cry while watching...the story of nanay Fedelina is very touching and inspiring. I am keen into the lives of many saints...and her story reminds me of Saint Josephine Bakhita's. Nanay Fedelina was truly living a true Christian life. 1 Corinthians 13:13 And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity. So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love. Three things will last forever-faith, hope, and love-and the greatest of these is love. Also, Jesus says in Luke 17:3-4, “If your brother or sister sins against you, rebuke them; and if they repent, forgive them. Even if they sin against you seven times in a day and seven times come back to you saying 'I repent,' you must forgive them.” May you rest in peace Nanay Fedelina...may God grant you the glory of paradise and in the company of the holy angels and saints singing praises to our Almighty God for everlasting ages. 🙏✝️⚘️❤️
An in-depth display of resilience, perseverance, and most of all, forgiveness. Words that are often misused. Anyone who's not touched or inspired by this story needs to watch it over and over again till he gets the point. A living Saint.
After watching this video, I think I have found my new purpose. I am a lawyer in the Philippines currently based in Ontario. Hopefully, one day, I will be an instrument in helping people like Fedelina. Although I hope na wala ng Filipino that is being trafficked.
yes pls.
Naiinis ako sa family hindi an lang pumunta sa radio like Jessica soho..ngayon may PASALI SALITA PA HYZZZZZZZ ang saya dahil naka TRAVEL HA HA HA 😂😂😂😂😂😂

Same. I am novice lawyer in the Philippines. Hoping that I will be able to serve victims of human trafficking

I'm with youuuu! I just hope they at least named her in the documentary.
Super agreee 💯 I was waiting for the nurse name or an interview. That was the turning point tbh
Unfortunately Nanay Fedelina died due to Covid. I was fortunate enough to have met her here in Los Angeles, she was very gentle, loving & good soul.❤

True! There can only be closure if these abusers are named! Unless the one who made this documentary explains the reason why.

Not one person in that four generation of family ever thought of doing the right thing, so sad and soooo evil!
Immediately thought the same thing. Shame on all of them. 40 years was a lot to think about that, but nothing.
40 years of abuse and yet she chose to forgive her abuser. What a pure and kind soul you have, nanay Fedelina. May your soul rest in eternal peace 🤍

This is the type of story that needs to trend. Very moved by the purest and sincerest heart there is of Fedelina. It made me appreciate the people around me. Thank you. Rest in power and kindness, Fedelina. ❤

You are one in a million kind of a human being.
salute to the vigilant healthcare providers (nurses) who took their stand to save nanay.
I cried ....I cried when she forgave her tormentors in court. She has a beautiful soul! Rest in peace, Nanay Fedilina!
Purihin nlng para Hindi ka sounds nega😊😊
So much kindess and forgiveness from Nanay Fedelina. May the Good Lord bring her to everlasting life! Amen ❤😢
Grabe iyak ko habang nanonood😢rest in peace nanay Fedelina❤
This hurts my heart so much. Grateful that she was saved and was given two years to enjoy her freedom and see her family. Shame on Benedicta Cox family (4 generations) who enslaved and maltreated her. I hope this Cox family is marked for a long time for the slavery they did against Lola Fedelina.
Kudos to ABS , such a wonderful Documentary.. Rest in peace Nanay Fedelina.
Grabe😢❤❤❤❤❤
Nanay Fedelina has a very kind heart. Ever forgiving despite the pain and suffering she received. I just watched this docu and I cried a lot. She's with the Lord now. Her soul rests in peace.
This is literally a situation that you have no options but to be strong and let live and pray to God to have another day to live and move forward..

This is so heartbreaking but at the same time very inspiring. She was enslaved by a Filipino family but was saved by another Filipinos who became her family. 🤍🤍🤍

as i was watching this documentary im trying to find out what did her family in the philippines did to look for her, for the last 40years have they done anything to find her?
i dont want to sound judgmental but if they really care for her as they portray in this documentary did they tried to report her missing to any government agency?or did they
do anything to locate her?i dont see any part in the documentary of any effort from her family to atleast find her im sorry but they could have done something..maybe just maybe
nanay fedelinas suffering didnt went this long.
THIS!
This story made me cry and realize how great to be kind and to forgive those who hurt you. Mabuhay! ka nanay Fedelina👊👍❤
'bat di manlang ninyo ako tinawagan?' man i was wrecked
Same 😭
I am so blessed to have come across this documentary.
Even if they sin against you seven times in a day and seven times come back to you saying 'I repent,' you must forgive them.”
May you rest in peace Nanay Fedelina...may God grant you the glory of paradise and in the company of the holy angels and saints singing praises to our Almighty God for everlasting ages. 🙏✝️⚘️❤️
May she received the justice in heaven
An in-depth display of resilience, perseverance, and most of all, forgiveness. Words that are often misused.
Anyone who's not touched or inspired by this story needs to watch it over and over again till he gets the point.
A living Saint.

At hindi po talaga natutulog ang Diyos
