Just had to bury my 6yo Labrador this morning (bone cancer) and so happy to see a new Serg video to distract me from such a hard day. Thank you! You don’t realise the joy your videos bring us. X
Sorry to hear about your Lab have had a few of them, they are so loyal and a real part of your life. Hope you recover from your loss and maybe contemplate getting another faithful lab.
Your channel is unique because you go where tourists don't go. When you are in Samutpragan, you might want to go Bang Pu. There are nice restaurant and resort. You might also want to check out Royal Thai Navy Base in Sattahip, Chonburi. It is 2 hours from Bangkok. You will see nice ships and interesting places. It was one of my favorite places when I went to Naval nursing college.
Haha yes, "Restricted Area" is Thai for please enter at your absolute earliest convenience. This was a great video and your personality and humor make this WAY better than any other tours and certainly even better than the Charge Cat can do :)

Hi Serg. Glad you had fun at Pra Chule Fort. The spicy sour soup contains chucks of fried Cha-om or Climbing Wattle also called Acacia. Cha-om is a vegetable grown as fence and food. The cook will pick out feather-like leafs and mix them in beaten egg and fry the mixture in oil until the omlette is firm then cut it into squares.
That battle ship from 1936 and the almost 2 centuries old huge fort are so brilliant! The monkeys, the forsaken trail, the adorable strayed dogs and cats, whoa what an adventurous day. I never been there once. Your vlog made me think of taking a day trip there, thanks.
It’s an amazing place. I didn't know we could go into explore inside the ship. Unfortunately the road to the Mangrove Center is broken, it’s really nice for walking or riding. Hopefully they will repair it.
This seafood restaurant is my favorite place for eating with special guests since decades ago and I've never changed my feeling about it. It's relaxing to eat good foods and look at the sea. The crab papaya salad here is the most delicious one. Unfortunately, foreigners don't know this gorgeous place.
I tried to tour the Chakri (still an operational carrier) once with my family. They didn't let me on, so when my mom in-law tried to rationalize with them by announcing that I'm active duty US military, it hilariously went from just "no" to "absolutely no way." It was still fun...lots to do around that area. Cheers, Serg. 👍

Another great video, I did learn something did not know there was a Fort there. Thanks for bringing us along on your explorations. If a cat could talk all he would do is tell you the best places to chill.😊
Nice video Serg! I was there about a month ago, interesting fort and ship. The ship is actually a frigate that the Thai navy bought from Japan way back when.
If you really made that order to the galley, it would be hilarious to watch the cooks panic to throw something together for you. It would be even more interesting to see the fusion concoction they brought you with their head down, dripping in sweat and praying that you like it haha.
Enjoyed this ep alot I going to try and go there when I next overthere the place looks good shame about the route to margrove all damage probably because of storms damage
That was brilliant, we have been down into that area but I did not know that place was there, very awesome thank you for sharing that, cant wait to check it out ourselves one day now. Great video! cheers... btw, those monkeys, I will want to avoid them lol
It’s definitely worth a visit. I literally stumbled on it on Google Maps the day before I went to make this video. I don’t think these monkeys will give you any problems.
Kaeng som cha-om…’climbing wattle omelet’…cha-om is a smelly veg/plant in an omelet that loses its smell when cooked, its used in a lot of regional cooking…i love it, especially when the omelette is eaten with nam prik kapi, shrimp paste dip…its very common in Kaeng som, its a defacto standard ingredient when you order Kaeng som….the stems have small barb

I probably should’ve called it a battleship, I believe it’s more of the destroyer class. However, I thought this was really interesting and I’m so glad I drove out there. Happy to know that you enjoyed this trip!
8:00 Thu, Sept 14 2023: Good Morning Serg from Gilbert Arizona USA. I truly enjoyed the video today. I love that you took us back in Thai time. Wow your lunch is really good looking. Monkey invasion 😮. It's very beautiful. Great video today Serg. Healthy Blessings as always 17:03
Thank you for watching! I knew there were supposed to be some monkeys there, but I didn’t expect to see that many. They were very calm. I was disappointed that the bridges to the mangroves are still broken. It looks like it would be very interesting to go and explore there. See you soon.
On a day with good weather, you can see Koh Sichang island, Chonburi Province. Previously, this fort was buried in a landfill. Until later, someone found it. And there was news that a Bryde's whale had washed up here and died. A delicious restaurant is Krua Pai Thang ( the ultimate kitchen.) Nearby is Khun Samut Chin Temple, a seaside temple that in the past had to be visited only by boat. There are homestays and kind people. Nowadays, there is a road to make it easier to visit. The atmosphere in the evening is very good. Because there will be a sea breeze coming in.
Actually it is not far from Sukhumvit, you drive motorcycle via Rama 3 Road, go up Bhumibol 1 Bridge, come down to Phra Pradaeng and continue on to Phra Samut Chedi District and you will be there. 😊
