Half your gold is falling right back out the end of the tube. Put a 45 fitting on the end with 6" more tube, and turn it up right after you suck up material. You'll have a lot less loss👍

Those Yeti buckets are one of those “ridiculously overpriced” items, until you actually find out how useful it is. Still ridiculously overpriced, but imo, justified. Best buckets out there.

You know once you start using a sluce box you're what they call a placer miner which is illegal in some areas of California, U.S.A. you need to ask where it's allowed though.

I used leather! It’s a combination of designs between Justin’s and John’s suction tube. Try some old leather. It will swell up when it gets wet, creating a better seal.
I use the same sluice box here in Colorado. Love it!
