I'm always amazed to come across these no death Hard Musou runs. LNS takes me back to the old arcade games that would just gobble up your quarters as this game is a bit of a bastard even on the lower difficulties. I've only beaten Hard Musou maybe once or twice back on version .03 but have beaten Musou a bunch due to how generous it is with extra lives.

@ryuhoshi1105 , I was thinking specifically street fighter characters in a a beatem up being able to use their the same move as in the arcade game. I've seen other characters as alternative fighters but this is the first time that I've seen street fighter characters in a beatem up.

Excellent runthrough with Oni. I know Magoiti was having trouble getting the timings right with him the other day during one of his streams (using Bulleta, I've noticed there are subtle differences from V.03), but it shows it can be done. (#^_^#)
You're definitely right about the final bosses too. I seem to have much less trouble with Seth now than before, barely dropping a life on him most of my games, even on Musou difficulty and up. (^_^)
Thanks, I also had a little trouble hitting his combos at the beginning, and I didn't even take advantage of his "dodge" much.
Yes, it was nearly impossible to defeat Seth without dying in V0.3, now it's possible, but I still find him harder than God Rugal. 😄
Has anyone been able to use M Bison on these very versions of Final Fight ?

Sometimes you have to appreciate what you have, because there may come a time where Cody, Guy and Haggar takes a vacation for Easter and Oni fills in for them... when they return the thugs of Final Fight will great them at the door and shower them with hugs, flowers n cupcakes 🧁

I've played through with dhalsim, zangief, guile, balrog and akuma so far. Balrog is insane, definitely my best, he can rush you down and carry you across the whole screen fast, and when he gets a knock down he can charge his turn punch to hit them when they wake up and go through projectiles, it usually hits the whole group to. His combos feel so good. Guile is awesome to with his air grab gimmicks. Zangief is really strong when you do his air kick into belly flop air kick belly flop repeat combo. Dhalsim has huge potential but he's a bit hard to use, his air cancels are a bit strict on the timing and range. His back jump attacks are the best i've seen so far.
I didn't see you use the air combos much, you're way better than me, but it's interesting that you can develop your own style with the combo system. If you do an air attack after running and hit attack when you land, you do a sort of dash attack and you can follow it up with dash attack. The tricky part is when you do the air attack (normal) you can cancel it into the down+attack and then back into the regular attack and repeat that as many times as you can. If you time it right with a slow rising juggle, you can get like 10 hits in, you can juggle them back in the air and repeat it to. Are you aware of this technique or do you think it's just not as efficient?
Yes, I know this technique of consecutive aerial attacks, but I'm not very good at using it, I can do 3 or 4 hits at most, that's why I don't use it much.
@@lDarkGamesl I just played through with nash and I fought akuma for some reason and then had extra stages? I lost at the captain commando stage and I didn't get any unlocks. How do you avoid this? Is it because I broke the arcade machines? There is a lot more to this game than I thought stage wise.
@@s133p3r0 Akuma will appear in M. Bison's place according to his score in the game when defeating Sagat.
If you have 450,000 or more Akuma will appear.
In musou mode it increases to 690,000 or more.
To unlock characters more easily Try playing in Beginner Mode or Boss Rush which is faster.
@@lDarkGamesl I got them all unlocked now, i'm noticing a lot of secret links, some characters like mika can do a ground move if you chain it with certain air moves, after her uppercut you can do d f Attack in the air, I noticed this with a few characters. Some characters that don't seem that good at first seem to have hidden properties. The attention to detail is so insane, they really put love into every character.
I'm trying to get good at normal mode, i'm breezing through the first half, but then I die to the boss after the clown usually, I think it's my parries that need to get better. Is every character viable in every mode? It would seem like the low hit combo characters would struggle in crap mode, since with someone like takuma you can rack up high combos and get a lot of levels to heal. Man, I wish this game was online, it would be the greatest game of all time if it just had that. Is their no way to get this up on fightcade? I would love to run some two player.

I think they should add Night Slashers and Martial Master in to it too
They only add characters that appear in games produced by Capcom, as well as Final Fight itself.
@@lDarkGamesl well if you seen in one the stage they have a cameo of the werewolf from night slashers.
@@keithbonneau8477 Well, that's not to say much, there are several references to various games, such as a clear reference to Sailor Moons.
In fact, the first part of the 4th stage (Up Town) is exactly the same as the 3rd stage of Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon.
I believed this meant that some of the Sailors might be added someday, but the game creators themselves said that they only add characters that appear in games produced by Capcom.

The Grim Reaper is the difficulty called "Hard Musou".

how do you add more credits if you die?
It is not possible to add more credits.
Each difficulty has a predetermined number of lives and credits.
Higher difficulties do not have extra credits.

Everybody who plays this has played as long as you, nobody cares. Combos don't win the game, anybody can do combos. 🤡
This game pisses me off. The jump button is the same as the kick button. How the fuck am I meant to do special moves using the jump button? Also the game doesn't read inputs for shit. Quarter circle motions don't even input very well for this game. Anyone who wants to say skill issue I guarantee hasn't played Undernight In-Birth 2 and I have so deal with it.

You need to finish the game several times, each time you finish it will unlock a certain group of characters.
Theres a mod version that unlocks all character n with cheats

@@blood852000 That version sucks, who the hell wants one button supers, 10 credits is too much, and there is no point to having all characters from the start, you can't use them all at the same time. It's more satisfying to learn a few, then beat it and move on to the next unlocks. Cheats=Ruin the game for yourself. Just git gud.
