Owning and driving a car in London has many challenges and there are times, such as this week, when I’m tempted to give it up. However, at the moment, I need a car to help care for Mutti. Besides, I have always loved driving.
The purchase of a pair of chic, autumn shoes cheered me up along with another visit to top fashion magazine, SheerLuxe. Hope you have had a great week and thank you again for your constant support!

I know it takes Jo a lot of time and effort to film, edit and put these blogs together but does anyone else wish she’d do two a week? I know it’s not possible given her job, other commitments and time constraints but I could listen to this lovely lady chatter on about Life just sitting on her sofa all day long - she’s SO uplifting! So Jo - thank you for being someone I look forward to watching and bringing sunshine to even the dullest or saddest of days. Take care, x

I have developed PTSD over the last year. I was given 5 parking fines 6 years ago but they were writing to the wrong address so I had no idea. I ended up with 5 ccjs and £1750 and no way of proving or contesting. Then last month I got a speeding fine for 35 in a 30. I don't want to go out and have lost all confidence after driving with no problems for 45 years. It certainly is a topic that needs discussing.

They must need the funds - made a request to give out every possible ticket they could find. Of course by sending it to your previous address they got even more money - please, do not let the buggers PTSD you. That means ‘they’ win.😡

20mph limits can be dangerous as drivers having to concentrate too hard on watching speedometer rather than keeping their eyes on the road! Definitely needs nationwide discussion.

We woman are strong survivors. It’s nice to see single women having a good life. My husband passed 7 years ago and some days it still feels fresh but Joe is inspiring. Take care.

Yes as your other followers have commented, Jo you spoke volumes of the kind of person you are, you were stressed, late and in the middle of getting to your appointment, BUT you graciously gave time to the young lady, who also got your name wrong, her boyfriend and her mum via FT! I hope this cheers you up Joe, my sister and I were in London for my birthday treat from Dublin six weeks ago and we were staying near Marylebone so we walked along the high street and went into Rixo . When I told the staff that we were one of you’re subs they were full of praise of you “ down to earth and lovely “ 👏👍we were hoping to see you with Myrtle but I think you were in Majorca at the time . We also meant to do the walking in Carnaby Street but ran out of time ! However we will do that next time 🙏

Jo, first of all I absolutely love you and your channel! Have you ever thought of collaborating with others on your channel? I notice other youtubers turning their channel into a business benefitting from additional revenue. We, the subscribers would pay to see additional content eg. Working together with your dog training friend on a class/course, interviewing succesful business people on how to navigate the current market, tapping into your stage/theatre contacts re drama training. You have so many skills and talents which would be a little goldmine for you 😁

Don’t get me started on driving in London, Jo! It’s a nightmare. On top of being forced to stop, albeit for one second, in a yellow box, going 32 miles in a 30 mile an hour zone requiring a £99 driver’s awareness course or £100 fine plus 3 points on your licence, the other driver’s are hateful! No one gives way, they charge in front, never indicate, hoot their horns at the slightest hesitation of other drivers to speed up, and intimidate anyone in a smaller vehicle than theirs, particularly if they’re a grey haired, middle aged women. It’s beyond depressing! However, your vlog each Sunday is totally uplifting! I hope I meet you one day. Thank you, Jo!

I so agree about driving in London- all the restrictions are sooo stressful and scary. And road works and diversions make things even worse! Have decided that driving is to be avoided at all costs - which I guess is the point of it all!!! Xxx

Hi Jo. I’m so glad you bought those Clegerie black and white shoes- they really suit you and look fabulous with the dress. When you mentioned the series Auf Wiedersehn Pet, I had to find the episodes you appeared in. I absolutely loved that series and I missed the second and third ones so if I can find them all, I’ll binge watch them! Driving in London was always tricky but it must be a nightmare now ! Here in Athens,there’s no chance - it’s worse than a nightmare so I have never driven here and just stick to public transport or go on foot. I like your earrings too! What a lovely chap Dave the cabbie is- it makes your late night finishes at work so much better and safer for you when he’s waiting for you. Much love to you and Myrtle x🧡🍂🍁🐾
