What is interesting is that I'm pretty sure we have converged on the same packing technique. I also treat that extra roll in step after the flakes as the "high wind" variant. Though, I do prefer to keep the lines out until the fold down step. But... glad I got a shout out!
@@mike123V I tried it today after flying, but into a concertina bag. Will see what it's like to take out when I next go flying which will hopefully be Wednesday.
@@maxwe789 When you take it out. I bring out the lines first.. by setting the wing in my launch spot and bring the harness down hill. then pull out each tip.. you can launch it from a ball like this.. or spread it out a bit more. Its up to you.
Nice Mike and Lauren! I wish you didn't stop at the end though. I'm also curious how you put it all into your pack. I'm sure I'll find a chance for you to show me though.
There are as many ways to pack a wing as there a pilots... :-D I have 3 different ones, depending on the wing and situation... My favorite is the fast pack bag, because it's the least fuss and takes only a couple of seconds... But takes the most space / can't be used for hiking. On the upside it's great to have it packed like that for storage...
@@mike123V Yeah, never seen that particular one yet, cheers for that! - What do you think of the wing? The riser is absolutely amazing! Thinking of getting it to replace my Gin Explorer...
@@mcbrite so far it's amazing. Want to get some nice long flights on it soon. Flew in garbage air. Didn't do anything spooky. We worked well together flying on mouse farts to get back to lz. Pretty amazing

Filmed response video today. Mission was really nice. Easier to get to peak.

Yea. My reason is high wind launches that have no set up area. Must be ready to go. I'll probably change methods as gliders and backpacks change.. ;)
