Territory War #4 - Marble Race

- In territory war, each colour attempts to conquer the map, which is done by eliminating all the other players. Players are eliminated when they Home sector is destroyed. When a sector is captured (the round areas), it becomes solid, allowing balls to bounce off it and stay closer to the action.
Colours:
Red
Blue
Green
Yellow

Red: The color everyone hated since the last boss battle
Yellow: The cold blooded killer
Green: The forever indecisive
Blue: The one who just refuses to die
Gotta love the "red bad, blue good" narrative!
@@samuka6163 That's just a fact, Red was the boss in the last boss battle and blue had multiple near death experiences
It almost seems like it's overtaken the "RIP yellow" narrative!
I love red

Fascinating. In addition to "Pixels changed", it would be great to see "Pixels currently owned." Just a thought.
Eventually, yes. Originally I wanted "territory owned" but never got around to properly subtracting from the previous territory owner and just kept it as "pixels changed", but I agree that stat would be nice to have.
Green could’ve got yellow if they just kept going for their base, instead they went to the side. RIP
Suggestion...at the beginning, put the rules in the middle of the screen so you don't cover the green and blue marbles.
Thanks for the feedback! I didn't consider that when moving the spawns to the corners for this one.
Green was so frustrating to watch lol
powerboost: rather than destorying the enemy base: the player should conquer it and turn it into its own and next balls would randomly appear either at base one or two or three. obviously a base can be taken again by another player so that would / could spice things up (although it might slows down/delays the final encounter )
also overtaking a base should create an immediate perimeter around the base (something not too big but not too small)
good video :) and good fight :)
Thanks! That's a good idea.
Friggin' sneak attack central this time...
Omfg GREEN YOU ALMOST HAD IT
Green was so close
This one was very nice, a lot of trick shots,or trick slow spread of territory
Show respect
This is amazing😎😎😎😁
Thank you!

I’d like to see you do a two versus two territory wars. Blue and green versus red and yellow of course
I tried that a few days ago. Had a few problems:
1. Neighbouring allies taking territory nearby each other will block the creation of sectors.
2. Due to 1, there will be a corridor between allies sectors, where the balls will just bounce harmlessly between them instead of being useful.
3. The game mostly tends to become one-sided at the end when it's a 1v1, so in the case of 2v2 the problem starts much earlier in the game. Once a team has an advantage in marbles, the advantage will grow and greatly increase their chance of victory.
I will need to fundamentally rework how my territory wars functions in order to make a teams variant. But I do intend to revisit it in the future, I think it's worthwhile to create, if I can get it right!
@@lostmarbles2d ok. You could probably keep trying that
@@lostmarbles2d You should revisit that sometime

Edit: mouse and and a Mr. Potato
i feel like there should be a penalty for losing sectors
Territory war💃🎊
An idea for a video is a 3v3 multiply or release and a seperate side for updrades (just the normal ones) but add a plus 1 upgrade ball in the upgrade side instead of plus 1 mult/release ball
That sounds like it would be chaotic! Might be worth a try :)
@@lostmarbles2d Might even be interesting to change the design to decrease mult chance on release side to compensate. Then again the release amount wouldnt be sufficent for good rng so maybe instead keep the plus 1 release ball but have plus one upgrade ball per color eliminated
@@lostmarbles2d Or remove the mult all together and just have different release abilities. In the release side have like 3 stages, normal release and defense, normal and bomb, then normal or x2 release. It would go for more small shots instead of one shot in the tens of thousands.
watching green was very not fun here, them clipping inside already existing sectors should not be a thing that can happen
Can I recommend something?
no
Of course :)
@@lostmarbles2d ok thanks! I wanted to know if it's possibe to add a swap (to any TW you want) button?
That can do 2 things:
1- Swap Multiple and Realease pad
2- Swap colors betweem them chose by random.
Hope you like!
@@alice06442 Thanks for the suggestion, but I don't fully understand what you mean. Could you please explain in a bit more detail? Thanks!
@@lostmarbles2d he's talking about your multiply and release videos. Having something that can randomly swap the button locations for the 'multiply' and the 'release' functions. Like and extra button in the middle that's small but hitable and have that add to the chaos.
If I'm reading him right.
