what this did so well is make us feel the fear of the kids right before we get slapped in the face with Prushka's reaction. We know what kind a monster he is, Reg and Riko kinda know, nanachi knows way too much, but then we see Prushka running to him like a child runs to their parents when they're back from work. Two totally different opinions of this man in this hallway and we're left fearing what the hell is gonna happen during his drawn out walk that feels like forever. What a scene.
Nanachi knowing way too much is one of my favorite things about this part of the story. She knows all the twists way before the viewers or readers, yet she can't bring herself to inform the other characters. Partially because she was still hoping to get past idofront without conflict, partially because she didn't want to burden them with the truth.

Someone who doesn't even do cruelties because of a grudge, a master plan, or some kind of revenge. Because in his actions there is no cruelty, at least for him. He acts in name of love. A twisted, horrific, inhuman love. He loves his children. He remembers all of them, and loves them even in their cursed and dehumanized bodies. He didn't make them suffer out of hatred or anger, but out of need. He justified his wrongdoings with love. He experimented on himself, his family, his daughter, and her friends, out of pure curiosity. Not even once he insulted or got angry with Riko, Reg, Nanachi, or anyone else. He praised them. He recognised that they had some qualities, even when he almost died. He never felt anything. Just curiosity. Like a three years old child tearing one by one the limbs of an ant to see how it moves. This is truly horrifying. And this isn't even the beginning.
I love this... hope other reactors/viewers in this MASTERPIECE atleast try to understand that because "Riko" can not/couldn't pass through to 6th layer w/out "PRUSHLE".

What a sweet dad! He must be so busy and he seems like he's leading a team of coworkers to achieve important tasks! But this does not prevent him from enjoying every moment he can get with his daughter!
Bondrewd is such a great character. He is unlike any other villain I have ever seen, he just completely lacks the sense of good and evil, not quite one those villains who act evil for greater good, nor like one of those villains who commit evil acts cause they feel like it.

That ominous dreadful background music does a good job displaying that moment when your heart skips a beat and fear paralysis takes over. Exactly what Bondrewd was supposed to transmit to others.
I recently got into this series and have watched every available episode and this movie. There is just something else about seeing this short and simple entrance. Your heart stops for a split second and it sends a shiver down your spine that can't be replicated any other way. Scares me, I'll admit. I didn't even realize I stopped breathing when he came on.

He's not just a white wistle diver, he's an actual white whistle too. And Prushka turned into a white whistle for Riko at the end of the movie. So prushka became a whitewhistle just like her papa

Bondrewd is a bastard that willingly threw away his humanity, Prushka was forced to be his life support and had it not been for Rika she’d have been cast aside same as the other kids(Need I remind you of Mitty). Worst thing is even though they beat Bondrewd within an inch of life, he’ll still continue hurting children for his research. Nothing about this is positive.
He is the best antagonist ever, not evil, happiness or any emotion, just the joy to discover the unknown the truth behind it, with the only difference that he does not limit himself with "etic", he will do whatever necessary to know the mystery of the abyss, just a scientist without any sense of "moral" that a common person would have. He is a pretty interesting character. I don't know if he is doing it for himself or to help others, however,he has make a lot of progress.
