Oh Angela you have no idea how much I needed this today x Thank you so much so relaxing and beautiful x Leicestershire is so beautiful xxx Have a lovely evening xxxx
What a tranquil, beautiful place! In amongst the cobbles, the thatched rooftops and the abundance of beautiful shrubs and flowers you can almost hear the quiet chatter of old tales and stories being gently whispered by those little cottages! Truly lovely! I hope you had a super trip X😊🌺
Aw I’m so glad you enjoyed the walk… we really have some very charming period properties around us… I just wish I could have a nosey in them 🫣😂 I bet they’re gorgeous x x
Thanks again for another gorgeous video! We will be visiting the UK for the first time in 10 days so this really made me excited. Both my parents were from England.
Oh amazing!! I bet you’re so excited… well, you’ll be pleased to know we’ve been having some beautiful weather, so I hope it stays nice for you!! Have a wonderful trip! X x
Thank you! You too! Have a great week… I’m battling a truly rotten virus at the moment so I’m hoping it passes soon so I can get back into the garden!! Xx
Couldn't agree more! We have some incredible things to offer! Although I’ve still not visited the King Richard III visitor centre! I really should… maybe I should make a UA-cam video on a trip there?! X
Lovely countryside. Very calm and quiet. You're lucky to live in such a peaceful area. I live in the countryside too. Here, it's only paddy fields and rubber estates.
@@hideawaycottage When our country was under British rule, they cleared thousands of acres of forests and planted rubber. The rubber tree is what gives you subbed sap when the bark is cut and white rubber milk is collected into coconut shells. Then it is chemically treated and made into sheets. And exported. We get all our rubber products from rubber plantations.
loved the video, watched over morning coffee and dreamed we were locals. We enjoy your content. I / we love more the walking silent type tours (no music) would be our tiny bit of feedback and it may very well be us in particular. That said, we love the content overall. Keep it coming please.
Hey 👋 aw that’s so nice, thank you! Yes I think I’ll do some more walking tours as there are so many cute villages around us, I will definitely keep the music light next time, or none if it’s a nice peaceful day to keep it a relaxing experience… I’m so pleased you’re here 🌸🤗
Hey 👋 ah no, that’s a shame, thank you for the feedback, I think you’re right and I should’ve spent longer choosing more relaxing music…I’m definitely still learning how to edit so I will keep this in mind for next time. I appreciate your feedback as it helps to know where I can improve x.
Such a beautiful video! You took a very long walk! I will be visiting soon from America and this was inspiring. These old homes are simply gorgeous and so are the gardens. I’m curious, are there any newer homes ever built in England? If so, do they have the charm like these do?
Hey 👋 oh lovely, I hope you have the most fabulous trip… well, lots of villages are very much like ours, but they also usually have some more modern developments with newer builds, they’re nice too in their own way, nice big drives and garages, clean and neat pavements etc… the problem with cottages, like ours, in the middle of a village is that they don’t have drives or garages so car parking can be tricky. Towns also have a real mix of old and modern buildings…some villages that surround us are much smaller and only have period properties… I will certainly do some more walking tours of the area because I think it’s nice for people to see what’s about… wishing you a brilliant trip full of wonderful memories x x
@@hideawaycottageIt was so kind of you to reply and describe the villages and towns. I can’t wait to see all the beauty! I’ve been dreaming of this trip since I was a little girl. Thank you for making such lovely videos. They are serene and beautiful and you have a kind and sweet spirit. Enjoy the summer and if I run into you on one of your walks, I will surely want to tag along!! 😃
New subscriber here- I recently stumbled across your channel and I’ve fallen in love with it. I absolutely LOVE your content and style! I was born and raised in England, but moved to Arizona many years ago. I still miss the English countryside, your videos make me feel like being home again. Your particular style and down to earth nature is a unique combination. I predict big things for this channel. Sending gratitude from the desert southwest. 🌵☀️😎
Hey Michelle, well this has just made my day!! I’m beyond grateful to receive such a wonderful and supportive comment, I can’t thank you enough… I shall continue to film bits of England so that you can continue to have nice memories of your childhood ☺️… with love & hugs, Angela x
I don't think there's any place more charming than an English village. Thanks for the beautiful walk!
Hi Heather, I’m so pleased you enjoyed it! We have some very traditional English villages around us so will certainly share more x x
Oh Angela you have no idea how much I needed this today x Thank you so much so relaxing and beautiful x Leicestershire is so beautiful xxx Have a lovely evening xxxx
Ah thank you Helen 🥰 I hope you’ve managed to have some relaxing time today, and if not I hope tomorrow is the day you can get your feet up 🙏🏼

Thank you for this delightful walk!😊😊
My pleasure 😊
This is lovely ! Thank you !
Thank you too!🌿🌸
Stunning, thank you so much. Leicestershire is one of the most underrated Counties in England, it has more thatched cottages than Devon !
Couldn't agree more! We have some incredible things to offer! Although I’ve still not visited the King Richard III visitor centre! I really should… maybe I should make a UA-cam video on a trip there?! X
Just lovely.🌺

Thank you! I feel so grateful to have lovely countryside! We could just do with a little more sunshine ☀️ what is a rubber estate?? X

Sorry. Its not subbed sap. Its actually rubber sap.
Lovely 🥰
Thank you! 😊

Lovely village however I had to mute, the change in music volume is distracting and in opposition to the "relax in the peaceful surroundings".
