it's been 9 years since I've done math and I jumped straight into Chemistry. I worked on this for a few days and just wasn't getting it. This literally helped me from just giving up. New subscriber. Thanks!
This channel is soo good, the way my teacher explains it makes me confused and sleepy. I’m watching this video an hour before a have a test on it, and now I feel so confident I’m not gonna fail
I came hear to get my seventh grader help. Now I can't stop listening to him. His voice is calming, yet keeps our interest. I love my friend's New York🤔 accent.
Professor Organic Chemistry Tutor, thank you for a massive introduction to Scientific Notation and its impact on Mathematics. Chemistry is a great subject to fully learn Scientific Notation from start to finish. This is an error free video/lecture on UA-cam TV with the Organic Chemistry Tutor.
I love how everybody dont understand anything their teachers say then they come to a random guy on UA-cam who covers everything quick, simple and its super understandable Reply "Yes Sir" if your the guy/girl who didnt understand anything in math until they saw these videos of his
Praise God for these videos and the help it has truly given my son to have understanding in this he only needed part of the video for now but we have truly enjoyed some videos thru out the year has truly been helpful thanks so much for this and the time and effort into this. I truly enjoy the plenty of examples given makes for great assignment. 🎉thanks again
Those taking the MCAT, DAT OAT can't thank you enough. These are exams with no calculators and it is a MUST to know every single information in this video, especially for chemistry, math and funny enough biology; thanks to Population genetics 😄
Thank you for this. I couldn't thank you enough! I'm an ste student, currently in 9th grade and we have a subject called Applied Chemistry, and this is currently our lesson. However, I can't see what the teacher is writing on the board cause the board reflects the light and my seat is at the very side of the classroom, also I'm near-sighted so I cannot grasp the lessons very well. But, thanks to this video I was able to understand what is going on. I'll use your videos to advance study and learn more!!
Buying a stock is easy, but buying the right stock without a time-tested strategy is incredibly hard. Hence what are the best stocks to buy now or put on a watchlist? I’ve been trying to grow my portfolio of $560K for sometime now, my major challenge is not knowing the best entry and exit strategies ... I would greatly appreciate any suggestions.....
A colleague advised me to hire an advisor, surprisingly I have accrued over $120K under the guidance of my coach during this crash. She figured out Defensive strategies to protect my portfolio and make profit from this roller coaster market.
7:28 In easy word, if u have a -8 or -5[or any other number(and same goes for the positive powers)], u would add the zero's 1 number short of the original power. so the ans will be: 7 zero's added to the left and 4 zero's added to the left. If u guys dont understand this, just reply back and ill explain, 99% chance u would understand cuz this guy explains sooo well, but other wise :-)
How do you do adding and subtracting numbers in scientific notation like for example (2.5 x 10^5) + (5.5 x 10^9) and (7.3 x 10^-6) - (9.4 x 10^-3)? And another like (5.05 x 10^-4) + 8.46 x 10^-2) and (3.73 x 10^-5) - (6.34 x 10^3)
Thank you so much, sir. Your channel has helped my classmates and I soo much in understanding math. Your explanations are much simpler to understand.I can not thank you enough.
i was gonna cray because tomorrow i have a test and i wasn't even know what dose scientific notation mean but now i know every thing and i also solved a lot of Questions because of you think you very much.
Incredible, didnt understand shit in class and i come here, and its wuiet and i can take my time and pause, getting so much more than at school like 0, i wish it made sense this fast at school.
Thank you for your course, it's really fruitfull :D. But I do have a feedback in 00:39 about 0.0000064 it's eaqual to 6.4 * 10E-7 not 6.4 * 10E-6 as you mentioned, please Note that 10E-1 = 1 NOT 0.1 that's all you video content incorrect 😅
22:45 "Anytime you move the number to the left the exponent increase" How does that work? Because when you move it left the exponent is negative meaning it is going down?
You have the most soothing calm voice and you just get to the point and thank you I learned a lot from you and I wondering do you offer offers science social studies and learning art because I am preparing to take my GED but the math helps me tremendously and thank you sir !!
Trying to get ready for a Placement test to get into my College Chem class. I made the mistake of not knowing that I needed to take the SAT, waited until the senior year (This year) to take the SAT when I haven't had a Math class in nearly a year, failed horribly but still somehow got into the college of my dreams, and now they want me to take a test.
How do you do adding and subtracting numbers in scientific notation like for example (2.5 x 10^5) + (5.5 x 10^9) and (7.3 x 10^-6) - (9.4 x 10^-3)? And another like (5.05 x 10^-4) + 8.46 x 10^-2) and (3.73 x 10^-5) - (6.34 x 10^3)
hiii I have a question @40:54, I'm confuse. I thought you multiply exponents by adding them, why did you literally multiply them when you're distributing the squared
24:13 I think there is a mistake here it is supposed to be 10^3 not 10^4 Now if I want to check, it will be 1.5 * 10^4= 15000 which is supposed to be 1500 So, the right answer should be 10^3 so it can equal 1500
19:05 I thought your gonna move the decimal to the left to make it 3.97 × 10 ⁶, the exponent will become 6 because you add 1 to the 5, but you solve differently now I'm confused. Plss reply
Another quick way to find out numbers times 10 to the power of something (mentally) is to give the number the power number of zeros ex: 8x10 to the power of 5, we can give 8, 5 zeros which makes it 800,000.
