Thanks for the series Nigel. Watching the four videos back to back really shows the changes in the seasons. Your time and effort in making these films is very much appreciated. If I had to choose a season, Springtime...Everytime!
Hi Paul, yes there really is a lot of changes through the year and pleased you liked this series, think spring is a favourite with most people, anyways enjoy your weekend cheers nigel
Nice walk Nigel. Such beautiful landscapes. Love the beautiful red poppies. So amazing that they found pre- historic items and animal remains in this area. Nice captures of the birds and animals. Have a great week my friend.
Hi Gasper, yes the red poppies still flowering at this time of year wow, yes the bones were dug up in the 1970s when digging for sand and gravel, now a protected site, thanks for coming along and enjoy your week cheers nigel
Hi Steve, thanks and yes the poppies still in flower amazing, everything springing into life must be the most popular season i would think, anyways thanks for coming along cheers nigel
A grizzly story to start Nigel - skeletons and daggers. But we have the peace of autumn now albeit wet. Blimey as you walked it became apparent that it's all about what's underground on this one. Sedimentary layers and fossils and then graves of an old cemetery. Some things can't be ignored. 17th C - pretty old for a headstone. Yeah, tell us ab out it front after front - nice down here today though. Good walk Nige - hope it was good up your end today. Mark
Hi Mark, ye real pleased with have peace with other places in the world at loggerheads, a grizzly start for sure but what i have found with doing this walk 4 times this year is the history i have dug up discovered really enjoyed it, cant get my head around it but pre last ice age wooly mamouths roamed England, incredible, ye we have had some nice Autumn sunshine today as well, anyways always nice to hear from you Mark cheers nigel
