Finally a Silhouette tutorial. I have stopped watching your channel because all you did was Cricut tutorials. I don’t mind sharing but keep it equal. Yes I would live to see more Silhouette tutorials from you. Thanks
I have the Cameo 4 in white and I love it! I make cards, signs, banners, iron-ons, and even create and cut out images for sublimation!!! I would love a slightly more advanced tutorial on manipulating the dots when you double-click an image. I have used it but I'm short much more can be done with it then I have taught myself. Thanks so much for all your posts!!!!
I have had my cameo 4 with business edition for almost 3 years and I found it so frustrating and it went back in the box and I just keep using my cricut. I would love for you to do an entire series for beginners, moving toward advanced. You teach very well. Thank you.
Same here. I've used a Cricut Maker for ages and it's been great. I thought I'd try a Silhouette for a change, and I so regret buying it. I bought the Cameo Pro, and I'm almost ready to throw it out of the window. The blade keeps sticking, sounding like a machine gun, it makes loud grinding noises while it's stuck, the vinyl slides all over if I try matless cutting. When it does cut, the cut lines look a mess. I've tried cutting Oracal 651 on a roll, but it just bunches up inside the machine. The latest problem is with the large 24x24 inch mat. It won't load, and I get an error message saying the mat is too wide for my machine. It's set up correctly. To use the 24 inch mat, I have to set it as a 12 X 24 in the page settings. My machine also shows as a Cameo 4 in Design software, and not Pro. I'm wondering if this could be why. I've never felt as frustrated in my life. I'm ready to bin the machine and go back to my Cricut, which would be a shame, because the Cameo seems capable of doing so much more, if only it would work. I've tried looking for books on Amazon, but can't find any. Loads of videos are now on Patreon, or others charge high amounts for their videos on the likes of Teachable where just one video is $30 to learn one aspect of the machine. I'm struggling to get by as it is, the new machine was intended to help me make an income and I went into debt to buy it.
I bought myself a Silhouette Cameo 4 Plus for Christmas. The Cameo came with 2 autoblades, 3 mats and a set of tools. My machine is white. I would have loved a turquoise one, but unfortunately, I don't think it comes in any other color. I am interested in learning more about the different blades and what they are used for such as the Punch Tool and the Kraft Blade. I went ahead and upgraded to the business edition of Silhouette Studio and would be interested in learning more about it's features as well. Thank you.

Hello! Middle school art teacher here and I am researching a way for my students to turn their artworks into stickers. This video really helped me understand Silhouette, so thank you! My question is if you know of a way (or have a video) that might help if I we only need one sticker at a time - as opposed to waiting for a whole sheet. Are there any comparable machines that do one at a time? Or would we cut down the paper size? Thanks!
I am trying to cut stickers with holographic sheets on the front of the sticker.... No matter what settings I have used I cannot get the machine to cut all the way through the stickers so that they are completely removed from the background sheet with the off set as the cut line. I even purchased silhouette holographic sticker sheets and it doesnt even cut enough to use the sticker. I tried cutting on the magnetic sheet setting with the force set a 33 and the speed set at one and moved the blade up to number 8, even with four passes it does not cut through... do you have an suggestions?
I have the Cameo 3 and for now, it gets done what I need done. I was wondering where to purchase the glitter laminate sheets? What is the name and all to look for them. Thank you 😊 Your videos are wonderful and very thorough . ❤
Can you leave a link for the glitter & holographic sticker paper? What setting would we use to cut through both? That's what you would do, right? I have a Cameo 4

My problem with the print and cut is that the image always prints out much lighter than the image shows on the screen. Do you have a tutorial on how to fix that?
@@DesignBundles Well, I've tried doing stickers as well as waterslide. And they have been things like flower images I've purchased or just photos that people want put on tumblers. Somehow they never print out as the color I see on my monitor. They are always more faded looking than what is on my screen. It could be my printer of course. But, I have even tested it with photo paper and those ended up better looking than the sticker paper.
I have found this problem too especially as I'm using a laser printer, I find that double checking from the source file that each colour has come onto silhouette Studio with the same CMYK colour values and adjusting them if needed fixes this issue. Especially find that Adobe Illustrator files come in with the colours all changed.
If the red border offset isn't on your images, how do you get it to border the outline of the image? Mine comes in as a square or rectangle around the image.
