This Cardiff service was my daily commute home from Portsmouth to Fareham for several years. It's the most efficient way to get from Portsmouth to Southampton as it doesn't stop at any other stations between Fareham and Southampton. The downside was when I arrived at Portsmouth Harbour to get this service home and found they only had a single 2-car train on during rush hour.
Ah lovely, packed in! 😅
I like the updated Class 165. I will buy this route in the next sale and thanks for the video.
No problem!
The announcement isn’t new, surprisingly. Not sure if it was implemented right as it came out, but I remember hearing it on the old Kuju 166
Yes it definitely isn’t new. Surprising indeed as even most new trains for train sim Classic do not have announcements.
Blimey, surprising
@@TheBritishAce Aye, quite. Massively outdated though
Joe, the signal didn't turn to red is because it was probably an auto signal. Automatic block signals are usually always green until a train passes then it turns red if there's a train within 2 signal blocks behind you, if not, it will stay green. I didn't know that myself until I started building my own fictional TSC route.
Cool! Rode on one of these on the Marlow Branch Line; didn't know it was in Train Sim Classic!
Unfortunately it is lol 😂 Although from 2007 or so 😮💨
Marlow branch!!! Very very local to me
For a more realistic sounds of the engine from these you can install the Sam T sound mod and install it with ts utilities
Ah right 👍
The distance boards show the distance from London in miles. Each I underneath the main number represents a quarter of a mile e.g.
9O
I
Is 90 and 1/4 miles
90
II
is 90 and a half miles, and obviously III is 3/4 of a mile
Ah got it 👍Thanks for clarification
Will the steam version of the Salisbury extension of this still work with the southampton to bournemouth route?
Steam Version is exactly the same however you will get less scenarios
We need this route on tsw, 166 as a layer, and main trains being 444 and 450 swr
Did you go past Trowbridge
Sadly not
@@TheBritishAce I live there and go trainspotting so I want to see it
How do you freeze the game when trying to take a screenshot?
Pause Break on the keyboard
does anyone know if the AP Track works on this or if theres a patch for it
Can't see why not
How do you make the t key turn to move the reverser I can’t seem to get it to work
Master key? Shift W should do the trick
@@TheBritishAce thanks
