Great vlog as always. I like organising but I hate routine. I only arrange my day when I get to it, depending on the weather, my mood etc, but even then the organisation is not set in stome and is very much adaptable. I feel your way of doing things is much the same. yes, great to have some goals and maybe a plan, but if life gets in the way, then so be it, - there's always another day. Anyway, however your life rune, it seems to work for you and you achieve satisfaction, harmony and happiness in your life. That is true living. Happy growing 🙂

A degree of organisation is necessary for day to day freedom, otherwise life is just chaos, chaos isn’t freedom. So I think we are of like mind. For me I realised that I was a freedom junkie when I was ill for 16 years and I wasn’t in control of my days because I never knew how I would be from hour to hour : all the best - Steve

On the routine point, I had 20 jobs before I retired, never gave the same presentation twice and only ever did projects that had never been done before. Thats how I got into online documents and videos, making videos at work, so I didn’t need to repeat myself.

Hi Steve my husband wears shorts in all weather too and he just feels comfortable in them, like you 🙂 I also suffer with low vitamin D. I take 1600IU daily in autumn and winter, 800UI daily in spring and summer, I feel religiously taking the supplements has helped keep levels stable. I’d love to see a video on all the gadgets you use and how 🙂

That’s interesting, 1200IU does nothing for me daily, so we are trying 20,000IU every 10 days to see if that improves things.

Vitamin D is fat-soluble, so consuming foods with healthy fats can aid in its absorption. Include sources like avocados, nuts, seeds, and olive oil in your meals.

Thanks, unfortunately I do all of that, I just don’t absorb it from food, at least not when it’s in normal concentrations. That’s why we (me and docs) are trying very high dose every 4 days. Even in summer with bare arms and legs my levels are low

What do you mean by" very high doses" every four days? I'm trying to get advice about Vit D dosage. Being old the skin doesn't have the oil necessary to convert the sunlight to Vitamin D.One UA-cam doctor says he take 40,000IU every month in one go. Others recommend say, 10,000IU a day. The NHS says it's dangerous to take more than 4000IU a day. It's a problem.

I think 20,000IU every 2 weeks is about the maximum that you should consider

How to keep soil moist and less watering. I really struggled with keeping my soil moist, itsl dried out a lot last year didnt seem to matter how much water i gave it

What's your soil type? Usually it's lack of organic matter....Woodchips, leaves, grass clippings etc are your friend, they act like a sponge, soaking up water when it rains and releasing it slowly when it's dry

Thanks, I read your email and I agree. I avoid all of the things that would make my videos more popular. I don’t want a larger audience. It’s hard enough for me to find the time to keep on top of the comments and questions from my existing modest one. I’d rather have a 1000 like minded, loyal viewers than try and attract 100,000 viewers by using SEO tricks : all the best - Steve
