hi friends◡̈ how's your week been? this video is a little study-heavy, but I hope it can bring you comfort in some way ♡ and an apology to my Russian friends for butchering your language. I'm struggling with pronouncing double letters :') are there any goals you're working towards at the moment? I've received a couple of requests recently to do a Q&A. thank you so much to everyone who is interested in my life. would this be something you might be interested in? I wish you a peaceful and fulfilling week ahead. lots of love, dal ☽
My favorite place to visit is going to the UK. We have been several times and it’s where I feel at home. But I would like to learn French and travel to France. I always thought I would like to speak the language passably before I booked a trip. I’m adding an age milestone this year, so I better get busy with those lessons! You are amazing and it’s so wonderful you speak so many different languages. Juno and Kiki are so cute drinking their tea. I hope you have a lovely week. Give all your babies a kiss from us. I enjoyed this so much. Love, Melissa
Ah, I'm so happy you feel at home in my home, Melissa! I saw you'll be 70 this year. I couldn't believe it 🥹 I studied French at school for a few years and last year spent some time refreshing my memory a little on Duolingo! The course there seems pretty great for the basics like travelling and small conversations. Of course, I also recommend iTalki tutors if you prefer something a little more comprehensive. I took a few lessons with a tutor before I had to stop when Moose got sick, and she was lovely, so I could recommend you her profile if you were interested ☺️ thank you for the warm words and love, we are all sending lots of love to you and your family, with a big hug for Oliver from Luna and Moose 🤍
Hi! I love your journal and your planner and your intentions! They inspired me to buy a diary that says: be kind. I always think, first to ourselves. I loved your wish for 2025, balance, that is a great one!:) And also, the invitation to plunge into some new learning with the mistakes we will inevitably make but which are necessary for the learning process
Hi friend ☺️ your journal sounds so lovely! If we find time to take care of ourselves, we can be the best version of ourselves for others, too 🤍 I’m happy you’re trying to do that for yourself. I’ve found balance to be the perfect word for my year so far, and feel so much better now that I’ve found it again. I hope your year will be full of balance, self-care, and kindness to yourself, too ☺️🤍
Hello from Mississippi USA 🌿 I saw this video while scrolling through UA-cam today. I watched it and enjoyed your content. I look forward to viewing other videos.
I’m so happy you liked my video. Thank you so much for stopping and saying hi ☺️ I hope you have a peaceful rest of your week. Sending love to Mississippi 🤍🌿
I am also struggling to achieve my goals, especially to change some of my habits, but it is not easy, for me you are an example of determination and strength, along with a lot of sweetness. "Let's do our best together"❤❤❤ Lots of love. Roberta
It’s definitely not easy, especially after having a difficult period. Try to take each day as it comes, and not overwhelm yourself with too many changes. It’s also my hope to return to more regular yoga studio classes, but I’ve realised it’s too much at once while also trying to rebuild my gym routine. For now, as the gym is much closer than my yoga studio, that’s what I’m focusing on. Small and easy changes first will lead to bigger things later on. We have so much time, and there’s no rush 🤍 thank you so much for watching and sharing your thoughts each week with me 🌿 sending lots of love to you, Roberta ☺️🤍
Hey! I love your content, it is really calming my nerves when focusing on a work 😊 I love your timekeeper too ⏰! Would it be possible to share where you found it??
I know this feeling so well, I'm also always up at 4 am, and when I look out my window it always makes me somewhat "happy" to see there are some windows lit in the houses of our neighbourhood, haha... It feels as if we had a secret "4 am club" 😅 that you are able to go to the gym so early is beyond my imagination though, haha! I'm sitting with my coffee for like 2 hours quiet in the morning, and only between 7-10 am I feel ready for sports. I was into weight lifting too some years ago, but after a year I had to pause due to an injury, and afterwards I never got back into this routine. Where I live now, there even is no gym near... So I changed my workout routine to running, hiking and doing Hula Hoop, which is fun!! 😅 Did I ever mention, I love your handwriting? 😍 Your parrots are the cutest... and the pancakes!!! So delicious!! 🧡
aha that's exactly the feeling! I always wonder what others are doing up so early; whether they work night shifts or they're students or just enjoy waking up early like I do. truly I am mostly motivated by being able to workout in an empty gym haha. I go in the evenings sometimes, like tonight, and it's just so much more comfortable in the mornings. although there are usually a couple of people there at 4am too, which makes me happy 🥹 your new routine sounds so much fun! there are public hula hoops in the parks here where I live, and I always want to try it haha. Have you started your running preparations for your 10K? thank you for the lovely words about my handwriting! it's getting a bit better now since I've been journalling so much. I was out of practise for so many years until last year and it was scrawl for a while haha. thank you so much for watching and wishing you a peaceful week, Kat 🤍🌿
@@dalsol달설 The hula hoop in the park sounds like so much fun!! :-) Yes, I started my preparations for 10k - but as it is freeeeaking cold this January, it's not possible every day (because of iced streets and paths). I think I did like 7 runs this month, and I'm currently at 2,7 k without having to pause. That's not much, but I enjoy the process so far! :-) Wishing you a peaceful week too, Danielle! Looking forward to your next vlog!
I am so curious to know what you do with the journals that you have finished? Because I have trouble throwing a calendar out that I have written on , let alone a journal with more personal information. Oh and one more thing , do you sweeten your tea with anything ? Ok, I'm done 😊
Oh, I'm very sentimental, so I store them all haha. I consider my journals little time capsules, and I love looking back on the things I've written, and seeing how I've changed, or remembering something that I had long forgotten happened. I tend not to sweeten many of my teas, as I like their natural taste, but I sometimes add some agave syrup to my chamomile tea if I fancy something a little sweeter ☺️ thank you so much for your questions and for watching! 🤍
I’m so impressed by your dedication to learning languages! I know three languages fluently, but I find it challenging to take on any more 😅 I’ve been wanting to study Korean, especially since I watch a lot of Korean dramas. Do you have any recommendations for where and how to start? How did you begin your journey with Korean?
That's incredible! What languages do you speak? I staggered my learning of each language, so it was a lot more manageable to pick up a new one each time. I started learning Spanish at school, then picked up Korean a year or so before I moved here, then Japanese when I felt my Korean was at an upper-intermediate level, which I then used to study Japanese through, and then Russian last year. I always want to learn more, but I think until I reach a higher level in Russian and Japanese I should resist 🥹 I started my Korean learning journey with TTMIK! At the time, they had a lot of free resources, but I'm not so sure how much is available for free now. Their books are very helpful in the beginning stages. I also attended the Sejong Institute in London for the very first level, which held a term of classes every week after work for a very cheap price! They have institutes in lots of countries so it may be worth seeing if there's one near where you live. If you're someone who learns well in a class setting, I recommend them or iTalki, if you're happy to pay a little more money. I think having someone to practise speaking with (whether a tutor or language exchange friend) is the best way to improve speaking skills ☺️ sorry for my novel of a reply haha. I hope some of that is helpful 🤍
@ Thank you so much for sharing your language journey! It’s really motivating. I love how natural you seem to pick up new languages, it’s so inspiring 🙏🏻 I speak Vietnamese and Norwegian from birth, and only learned English in school. I’ve tried taking Spanish classes and learning German online, but they never really clicked with me. So I can truly appreciate the effort it takes to master a new language. I’ll definitely check out the resources you shared. Thanks again for all the great tips 😊 Can’t wait for your next video!
Hello, Danielle 🤍 I left your new video for the end of my day and it’s like precious dessert, that calms me down and soothes my nervous system. I’m curious why did you decided to study Russian especially. It would be very interesting for me to know your answer, if you can share ☺️
Hello, lovely Dina 🤍 Thank you so much for the incredibly kind words about my video. I'm so happy it brings you some calm. I had a lot of reasons for beginning Russian! I had wanted to learn a new language that was totally different to the ones I had already been learning, and had met a few Russian friends here in Korea who I loved listening to speak. I also studied a lot of Russian history at school and was interested in Russian literature. My Dad also participated in the 1980 Moscow Olympics, and I remember seeing photos of the architecture he took and being fascinated. I took a trial lesson with my Russian teacher and fell in love with her passion for the language, and that was my final motivator to begin studying. It's strange, because if you'd asked me back when I was in school if I'd ever want to study Russian, I would probably have said "never!" haha, but as I became exposed to a lot of it here in Korea, I wanted to learn more about it. I also have a lot of interest in Ukrainian and thought that it could be a good foundation to later look into learning some Ukranian too, but I'm still a very, very long way away from having any kind of competency for that haha. Really, there are so many languages in the world that fascinate me and I wish I had the intelligence, time and resources to learn them all. I hope that helps answer your question ☺️🤍
First time watching a VLOG of yours. Why wake up so early? Do you go to sleep at like 9 pm? After working all day, my evening is really just starting at 9 pm (after cooking dinner, cleaning up and getting kids ready for the next day). So, after kids are asleep, I do laundry and whatever else I need to do. I don't actually get to bed till around 11 pm. I look forward to the day when I can sleep in and no more waking up at 6 a.m. for me.
Thank you so much for watching ☺️ I have a video called ‘how I wake up early’ in which I go into the reason in detail, if you’re curious. But essentially, I’ve always been a morning person. I used to get up to go swimming training before school at 5am everyday from the age of 12. I felt better studying in the mornings than at night when I was at university. So my body and mind just function better on this sort of schedule. After moving to Korea I also felt as though I didn’t have time to do the things I wanted to do, because after getting up at 6am and going straight to work, I felt too tired to do anything afterwards as I always start to feel sleepy past 7/8pm. So I started waking up a couple of hours before I needed to get ready for work to go to the gym, take a yoga class, study a bit. And now it’s become my routine. I work from home several days a week, so that gives me extra time in the mornings to do chores like laundry, cleaning, etc. I also don’t have children, so it’s therefore much easier for me to live according to my chosen schedule. If I work late or take a class later in the evening I adjust my wake up time the next morning so I don’t sacrifice sleep. Sorry for my novel of an answer. The video this coming Sunday will be a night routine video, which can give you an insight into how my evenings look, if you’re interested ☺️ I hope despite your busy schedule you’re able to find moments to rest and unwind a little, and thank you again 🤍
@@dalsol달설 Thank you for taking the time to respond. We all have different ways and it all depends on where we are in life. Having children is wonderful, but also sort of puts you in the back seat for a while. They won't always be little and then I'll find time to pamper myself again. Much love to you.
Hi Danielle ;) I think we have the same duvet cover ;) Your hair are much much better - very shiny, looks healthy ;) Because of You I bought One Line Day journal - it is so amazing, im doing it every morning. Why Russian haha try polish and I will be your teacher haha ... have a nice week Gosia
Gosia 🤍 ahh, where’s your duvet cover from? 🥹 thank you so much for the kind words about my hair! The final few inches of dye need to be chopped off and then my hair will be fully natural and look much better I think, but I’m waiting for the right time to cut it haha. I’m so happy you’re using that journal! It’s been so nice rereading what I wrote a year ago as I write new entries for this year. A little time capsule 🤍 I had a Polish housemate for a year actually in London, and I loved hearing her speak! If you will teach me I will gladly take on Polish too hehe 🥰 hope you have a lovely week 🌿

I’m just curious. You may have mentioned this previously, but what is your end goal for learning all these languages? Is this just for fun, or do you want to be a translator someday? Of course I don’t know what you do for a living right now, but I was curious.
For now, it’s primarily for fun, to connect with others, to learn and understand more about the world, and to live as freely as possible while I’m here in Korea. My job is unrelated to the languages I’m studying, but learning Korean has been a huge benefit for it ☺️ who knows what the future holds. Thank you for your curiosity 🤍
yes! I have lots of reasons, including wanting to learn a language that was completely difficult to ones I was already learning, having studied a lot of Russian history at school and finding it very interesting, a big interest in Russian literature, meeting lovely Russian friends here in Korea, and with my Dad having travelled to Moscow in the 1980's, so I saw lots of photos of there when I was younger and was fascinated with it ☺️ thank you so much for watching! Thank you so much 🥹🤍 the timer is from Minee! If you search ‘Minee timer’ it should come up 🤍
First time watching a VLOG of yours.
Great video ❤❤
Thank you so much, friend ☺️🤍
Qué belleza de video 🤍
muchas gracias, Greg☺️🤍
Lovelyyyy ❤
Thank you so much 🥹🤍 I hope you have a lovely week 🌿
Hi, your video is relaxing and gives sense of comfort :)
I'm so happy it brought you some comfort ☺️ thank you so much for watching.
Nice intro ❤
thank you so much ☺️🤍
@dalsol달설 You're welcome!!

I think you are experiencing a workout burnout. Even with the things you love most, it can happen :) Take it slow and easy, you’ll be back into the rhythm in no time!
yes I definitely did for a lot of last year. I'm glad I listened to myself and took some time away from it, but I feel so happy to finally be back and enjoying it again ☺️ thank you so much for watching, it was nice to hear from you again! hope you have a lovely rest of your week 🤍
Let's do our best together ✨
Sending you all my love and support☺️🤍

Good morning my gorgeous friend😊
good morning ☺️🤍

I’m just curious. You may have mentioned this previously, but what is your end goal for learning all these languages? Is this just for fun, or do you want to be a translator someday? Of course I don’t know what you do for a living right now, but I was curious.
For now, it’s primarily for fun, to connect with others, to learn and understand more about the world, and to live as freely as possible while I’m here in Korea. My job is unrelated to the languages I’m studying, but learning Korean has been a huge benefit for it ☺️ who knows what the future holds. Thank you for your curiosity 🤍
Why?
I hope you have a lovely rest of your week 🌿🤍
Why in God’s name would anyone want to get up at 4am - it must make the day feel as if it’s 90 hours long? My idea of hell. Sod that.
You sound very angry over someone simply having a different schedule to you 🥺 I hope the algorithm better serves you and you find peace 🤍
