Just discovered your channel and I like your approach to vlogging. I’m an introvert myself so I’d probably choose not to show my face as well. Even before I learned you’re from the UK I could tell by your spelling. 😊 I was so shocked when I saw your birds and two dogs. At first I thought you only had one, but then the other cutie popped up during breakfast. As for your feathered friends, I thought you had parakeets, but then you wrote about taking care of your parrots so I realized I got their sizes wrong. Parakeets are smaller I think, but I’m far from being an avian expert. I used to translate Kdramas in real time into English for online viewers throughout the world, but all those late nights of translating took their toll on my back so I had to stop. Turns out you need more than 3 hours of sleep per night to function the next day, but I kept at it for four years. I’m still proud of the fact that my blog got over 8 million views so I can always look back and feel like my time and sacrifices were worth it. I think you’ll get a similar sense of accomplishment as your channel continues to grow. I’ve always wanted to learn yoga, but I’m not sure my body is capable of turning itself into a human pretzel, but I’m willing to give it a go. If you ever wanna trade lessons, I can teach you to crochet and knit. I’ve got tons of supplies and tricks to exchange for yoga tips. We probably don’t live near each other, but Seoul isn’t that big so could meet halfway somewhere. The thing about hobbies is that once you get into them, it’s addicting. I’ve already mastered wood carving, beading, and making accessories like earrings and necklaces so my next goal is either pottery or silver smithing. Personally that’s the best thing about Korea. For creative souls, there are tons of easily accessible outlets for your imagination to run free. The only limit seems to be finding the time. 😊
