As a polaris and yamaha guy I have to say these Can Ams are a beast and look great 👍 they sure have come a long way . Definitely something to try out. Great video guys 👏
Couldn't agree more, it is THE best mud ready factory ATV. And you can definitely rip trails with it as well. That's why Renegade 1000 XMR was my choice for a new ATV
You talked me into one. I went from putting a deposit for Kodiak 700 to XMR 650 then 850. Why not just get the one ya really want and every time you hop on, you know tbe 25k was worth it. Now its more like What Color but in reallity will be which ever gets delivered first.
I rode in a poker rally in Drayton Valley AB a few months ago and met a ton of guys who run these bikes. Needless to say, they are absolutely insane!!! 30" tires shooting mud 50' in the air down the whole trail, and they sound mean as hell with an aftermarket exhaust.
I have a polaris highlifter and a renegade xmr. The xmr breaks less and is more fun to ride. And yes the rotax power is like no other machine. But that is thanks to having NO flywheel weight except the primary clutch. The sportsman uses a very heavy flywheel on the crankshaft which slows down the throttle response. That is why the canams are so snappy and the Polaris are not. Love my canam call me a fanboy I don't care! BRING ON THE SKEGGGGG!
I've a 450 Outlander though its not as fast or powered with 1000.She DELIVERS to SATISTFY'S.People here are surprised in speed and torque when needed applied.1st timers
I AM THINKING OF TAKING MY CAN-AM COMMANDER 800R MOTOR OUT ASND PUTTING A NEW 1000R MOTOR IN !!!!! I THINK IT SHOULD BE PRETTY SIMPLE SWAPING OUT THE 800R TO THE 1000R.....INSTEAD OF BUYING THE WHOLE THING BRAND NEW BECAUSE MY COMMANDER IS IN MINT CONDITION HARDLY A SCRATCH ON IT!!!IT ALREADY HAS 30S SO THE NEW MOTOR SHOULD BE PERFECT!!!!
We have a 2016 XMR 1000R. It's the stiffest ATV i've ever ridden. I already took turned all the clickers to soft and let a ton of pre load off of the springs and it's still stiff as hell. Last thing to do is to disconnect the rear sway bar. Has anyone done this yet and did it soften up the ride at all?
The renegade is the quad bike for those who eat sand and mud *purepower💪💪💪 awesome xmr i have a 2014 renegade 1000 xxc and it ride still like a animal 💪💪💪💪
The cost of these ATVs is getting ridiculous. For something I’m gonna go bury in the mud or pond. These run roughly $16,000. I guess I’m old school, cheap whatever you wanna call it. But I can’t see spending more than 8-10 thousand on an ATV. Gonna be a lot of people that are die hard ATVers disagreeing but it’s just my opinion 🤷🏼♂️ lol. Great video thanks.
Tires say 30x9-14 right on the side of them. We did not get out a tape measure to confirm, just telling you what is stated on the website reflects what is printed on the tires.
It is a great bike let's talk about the elephant in the room... The Cryptids are NOT 30", they are 28". Additionally, it's curious that when you buy 30" cryptids, they are 30". So why is Can-Am putting 28's on it and calling them 30's? The other issue, price. It's offensive what both Polaris and Can-Am upcharge for the mud editions. Which is basically snorkels and tires.
@@AVGJoesGarage the renegade lineup is overpriced as is. They cost more than the outlanders and they have less plastics, less frame, less CVT parts. You're paying for the "cool" look more than anything. A shorter wheelbase should be cheaper. The one thing I like about Can-Am is they let you buy all the snorkel parts, rad relocate kit, etc and bolt them on to non XMR models. And there build app freely lets you. It's way cheaper to get an lower model and add the snorkels and tires. Heck, even the outty 1000XMR comes with a rad relocate and $2k less.
@EC ATV And Outdoors I agree on the outty being cheaper. I even feel the outty xmr lineup is a better overall value and more useful. Last thing is I prefer the typical atv style. Hence why I bought an outlander.
No offense, but if you have to see your tires to know where they are, then you shouldn't be driving a 1000cc ATV. I prefer the Outty because the extra length allows you to get through deep holes a lot easier and get out of holes the Renny will throw you backwards in the mud.
Will never understand the mud only machine. I want my atv to go any place. Cool looking machine. Playing in a mud pit close to where it was unloaded is not my idea of fun.
The best of the best is the Polaris highlifter nothing beats it sucks it was discounted as contract ended and tourqe isent hp hp throw mud far they aren't real 30s and only measure to 28s the winch is great but needs to be molded immediately also the rad being low is bad for the mud witch the outlander does better and highlifter and I think the mudpro ride quality is good yes and you can go pretty fast tires suck for mud good for trails there ya go I gave you all the truths and facts he coverd over this video I'm not getting paid so I'm telling ya the dam truth also I've owned both check my page for proof

Just like any new toy that is expensive the people who sometimes buy them are the ones that think they need the fastest, biggest displacement, biggest everything ATV. They buy the big one thinking it is the best that money can buy. Well, money doesn't buy experience or make you smarter. A little 50 cc dirtbike can kill you just as easy as this beast. Training is a must but experience and wisdom are earned with bruises, blood and broken bones.
Canadians and Renegade XMRs are like peas and carrots! Awesome content boys!

Great to hear!
This new model looks sooo good.
A lil slick on the presentation no pun intended.

Really like a 28
Yeah they are 28.5. Very disappointing

When I bought my XMR in 2017 the 1000 had 30 inch mudzilla's. Mine is only the 570 with 28 inch mudzilla's but is still a riot to play on.
No the 1000s had gorilla silverbacks up until the cryptids they have had since. I believe 2017 was the last year of the silverbacks
@@skegmachine1999 My mistake it definitely had the silverbacks
Finally a renegade xmr
It has been waaaaay too long since we've had a Renny.
Why does the renegade xmr not come with a factory rad relocate but the outlander does
Plus a true locking front differential
Plus ITC, new he brighter headlights. Not to mention they finally fixed the tail light bulbs blowing
Finally 🤩
Nice unit but why on earth is the radiator not relocated from the factory?
Can am should release a new version something with 6 tires 🤔
