183rd my old stomping grounds...the PAL on Webster Ave is where I used to play ball, hang out etc. also went to IS 137 where the fire hydrant was blasting off lol.
It's pronounced "tee-bout". Also, to get to the Bronx's Little Italy you are better off taking the bus. The BX22, BX19, BX12, BX9, BX36 and BX17 are all nearby. Edit: as for trains personally I would suggest taking the 2 or 5 train to 180th street. When you exit walk a couple blocks up on 180th street and you will see a bus shelter where you can catch the BX9 or the BX36. (The BX9 gives you more of a straight route to the area he was walking in the next vid). Also, side note you would now be next to an entrance of the Bronx Zoo if you want to make a day of it and there is a little park there too with a waterfall visible from the sidewalk. If you want avoid the bus head up towards that Bronx Zoo entrance I mentioned (don't go in lol) but just keep walking all along the zoo. You will wind up on Southern Boulevard. Keep walking along the zoo until you get to 187th street. Turn left to cross the street to head to the area AK walks in the next vid. This is a much more gentle slope than the E. Tremont route he mentioned in the beginning which is a very steep hill.
Can’t believe you walked my neighborhood! It’s been a while since I’ve done it lol. You did the exact same route I walk! Please be very careful around here!
This guy has walked through the notorious Brownsville. I swear this man Kenneth Actionkid has no fear of death....it's quite impressive how he goes through sketch places with a calm demeanor and levelheaded
I enjoyed the walk there. My daughter lives in The Bronx and I have not visited yet. I call her and tell her, “I was in the city today, but didn’t see you yet”! LOL!! Keep hoping to see her in one of your videos. Thanks for your time and effort you put into your work. Great job!
It was almost like the 1970s and 80s Old School New York re-incarnated in 2020 passing through those neighborhoods in Fordham Heights 2:00 - 10:34 With the fire hydrants out and spraying and the miscellaneous objects on the sidewalk. I almost felt like I was teleported into an alternate universe LOL
Ohhh, you got off at my stop!! 182-183rd St "D" Train!! But my apt building was on the other side of the Concourse. Address: 2259 Creston Ave, Lol!! Surprised I remembered it, haven't lived in the Bronx in 30 yrs and don't visit that often, but did this past December for NYE! And I DID NOT realize there was a little Italy up there. I knew about the one near Lincoln Hospital. Can't wait to see the Little Italy video. Sylvia
Have you been to the walkway in NJ that goes through Edgewater for example? It goes along the Hudson River and it starts in Hoboken or something and runs all the way to Edgewater just about. Theres the NYC skyline that you could see from a distance too. Theres not a whole, whole lot to see like in NYC but its nice. Then theres the botanical gardens in the Bronx too.
Amazing video but that is a long walk.. I walked from the station to little Italy with you and I am beat! I didn’t eve walk 😂😂😂. I love love NY! Thank you for the video!
The first part of your walk showed the Bronx as I had imagined it, with Puerto Rican people gathered on pavements, scruffy streets, chaos reigning with the water pipes and dark, dingy streets. But then it got better, cleaner and more modern. It reminds me of Bernstein's 'West Side Story' which, whilst set in Manhattan, contains the song 'Puerto Rico, you lovely island'. Good walk nonetheless.
ActionKid: Unfortunately you took a difficult way of going to Little Italy. It's easier by taking the A train to the last stop north of Manhattan (207th St. in Inwood) and change to the B12 bus. The stop on the Northside of Little Italy would be Fordham Road and Arthur Ave. That's the most direct way to that destination using public transportation coming from Times Square.
You should have made a left at tiebout ave. To get to little Italy but nice to see the Bx.. just wish the people that lives there knew more about the rich history of those buildings and they would take better care of them
I am a block from that train station, it would have been nice to meet you. I could have taken you to a shorter route. I worked in St. Barnabas for many years. Awesome video, thanks for sharing.
Trust me, it gets old very quick. There’s no such thing as peace and quiet, especially here in the Bronx. All that music you heard in this video happens at ALL HOURS OF THE NIGHT, even sometimes until 6 AM. I would trade this big city life for a quiet suburb or town. This is coming from someone born and raised in NYC
Next time take D train 170 grandconcourse . Walk to your right walk down all the hills webster ave is right there .Head to 170 Arthur ave . Then walk uptown .
7:15 u betta had not did that on purpose, clearly the dirtier side of the block nd u sound mad that we not baked "i dont wanna deal with the water" in the head ass

What i like the most about your videos is the walking pace! You're pretty damn fast! I don't get bored watching you walk 👍
That is some trek from the subway to Bronx Little Italy, AK!

Thank you for walking this route, it will come in handy for me when I visit.🥰
For me it's quicker to take the local 12 bus from the Fordham road 4 station, less walking

You got off on my block in the beginning lol!you should’ve never got off on they block tho it’s dangerous on that side
Amazing how you knew how to get there from the subway.
nice tour, my friend
I Currently live on this block on Park Avenue since the 1990's.
I can't imagine life in such a big city. I'm barely living here in small town.
i guess it never gets boring always something to do a lot of noise but you get used to it i'd love to live there
Where do you live? I love visiting NYC, but i don't see myself living there.

It’s worse you have no space and live on top of people

You should have gotten off on Fordham Road and walked east.

I don’t think that culture understands what Social distancing means, and not too many mask wearers either, then, they shout when speaking soo😂😝🤣
The culture you described are those of the Dominican Republic. They tend to do as they please regardless of laws and regulations. No offense to anyone!
