I never had toilet problems until a cleaning service put one of those in our tank. Two months later it was leaking and took several tries to flush.

About 2-3 months after I started using the blue drop-in tablets in my toilet tank, the bluish chemicals started oozing out of the bottom, the place where the toilet bowl rests on the floor. Nothing ever leaked from that earlier. Once I stopped using those, things went back to normal, and leaking stopped. Probably the sealing rubber wasn't fully damaged.

Hey I was just wondering our toilet is extremely brown and it probably hasn’t been cleaned in years (We just moved into this house a few years ago) And I was wondering if you have any recommendations that we can use

I don't think you can reverse the damage but its never to late to stop using them
Scrubbing bubbles' tablets don't have bleach, so they're safe then?
City water is pretty highly chlorinated but that’s fine. How does that make sense?
City water chlorination is nowhere near as strong is adding a chlorine tab to the tank.
