Thanks for outlining what I'll need to install my Active Target properly, but that Ancor Duplex wire is not cheap!

You're welcome, I hope that it was helpful. And yes, the Ancor wire is not inexpensive but it has come down a little in price lately. I did some a little less costly on Amazon but I have not tried it since the Ancor works very well for me. The key is marine grade which means multiple stranded tinned copper wire in a good covering, usually fuel proof.

@@garrywoodruff960 Thanks again for the info Gary. I've found a 25ft roll of Ancor online, but it's "Flat" duplex wire. Is that ok to use?

Thanks. That wire should be okay. The wire that I show is flat, as in the 2 wires (red and black) are side-by-side in the jacket. Make sure that the wires are black and red, and then use black for ground and red for power. Post the link and I'll look at it for you.

@@garrywoodruff960 Thanks Gary. I have an extra 40 amp relay from an old trolling motor, is this safe to use with the Active Target?

The Active Target module should be fused at 5 amps near the module. I typically use a 30 Amp breaker at the battery for the of my electronics. I will use a 40 Amp breaker, like on the Caymas videos, if there are more than 4 units and 1 Active Target. So, your 40 Amp breaker should work at the battery but you need to use 5 Amp on the AT power cord.
