That was a useful review. I have been conserving one of these, but at 6'6" I've found it hard to find anything that fits. Thanks for taking the time to share this info.

Thanks for the review. I wish SMD had more information about the functions and features. I just purchased one and am trying to get it dialed.

Does the sleeve in the back where the harness adjustment slots are go all the way down? I want to insert a poly framesleeve for a little better rigidity...I don't run or fast pack in it. I just wear it to get the weight on my core and not my back or hips.

Do they make a internal frame sleeve for the hydration pouch? I don't need a fast pack per say, I just need to get the weight off my bad shoulders and hips as much as possible.

Hello! Thanks for the review. I was considering purchasing this pack, but I'm worried about the fit. I need a 30L pack for fastpacking involving some running, some hiking over a week. What similar packs do you prefer to this one? (This is for the UTMB PTL race).

Hey Patrick, thanks for watching! I have not tried any other 30L packs, so I am not able to give you any recommendations directly from personal experience. I have known at least one other person who has had good experiences with the 30L Ultimate Directions FastPack. I will be running around Mont Blanc on a 5 day adventure fun run starting July 13th and will be using the Nathan Journey 25L fastpack. Not sure if that is going to be big enough for you, but I can report back as to how it fares. So far in my test runs it has been pretty solid with the only little niggle being the chest strap getting a little loose over time.
