Jane's Fighters Anthology • Ukraine Campaign Remake by Outlaw - Mission 4: Cherry Pick

In the original mission from USNF our task was to crater the runway of an airfield in Odessa. In the remake we're tasked with taking out SA-10 battery covering the Crimean Peninsula. We still fly for the Ukrainian Air Force - again in Su-24 Fencers. We will have Flanker escorts. Other Fencers will be tasked with additional strikes while we deal with the air defences.

Indeed the remake puts more of the Ukrainian Air Force in action.

too bad they can't make it use the persistent airframes and ammo logistics of the actual original campaign

You will see that in the final release. The test missions aren't loaded into the CAM file yet. Some of these missions will have to be locked down loadout wise because FA gives very few weapon options for the Ukraine campaign and there's just too much needed ordnance to go around.
