I haven't been on this bridge in decades. You are traveling on Bruckner Blvd.; my old roadways You are passing the high rises in the right where I used to live. Thank you for taking me pass my old neighborhood that I grew up in😍
I came for the travel, but I stayed for the conversation. Such a nice and pleasant talk between your father and you. I would like to add that in spanish we have confussing words also, even with the "derecho/a" (right) word your dad said: it could mean "to the right" (derecha), "go straight" (derecho) when driving, or even "to have the right to something" (derecho).
At 7;37 when ActionDad made his comment about several fast food places where at the same Burger King location through the years . I thought you could say that about most of the locations of businesses in NYC . Burger joint after burger joint , fast food after fast food ,etc.
I remember when the Burger King on Astoria Blvd and gcp was a Nathan's, with a game room, I worked for the company that serviced the automatic tol lanes in the 80s the sgts. that wanted us had the phone number to the game room because our guys would be hanging out well past ther lunch hour.
