Wow thank you I've been up and down fighting my car testing checking and changing parts. Went and re soldered the ecu on a few parts that didn't have much to any solder and ones that looked cracked. And wish I would have seen this. Would have went and grabbed a new transistor for c17 and been back in business. Thank you so much
Friend, I have 2 ECUs, P0B-A01 Accord LX M/T. Both times I replaced all the capacitors with the correct specifications. One of them, when I turn on the ignition, the car has the injection light on for about 3 minutes and if I try, it won't start. After 3 minutes it turns on and the injection light comes on indicating error 9. The other central, sometimes the car starts perfectly and the injection light does not appear. But sometimes starting is very difficult, you have to press the key a lot and step on the accelerator. What do you say about each of these ECUs? Help me please. Tks
How do I fix the memory problem? Have one with solid cel. Primes and car starts, the cel is just solid and can’t get any flashes when it is jumped. TIA
I did all.my compacitors an now I have no voltage too tps do you know what in the ecu could have fried or what compacitor goes to tps I should re sauder?
I have a ecu that is chipped with s300 and the cel comes on right away with cyclinder 1 code. When I had the changed the board the another ecu the check engine light went away. What will cause a cyp code? Possibly bad capacitor

The second one was a friends but had delayed fuel prime. told him the ic17 power supervisor needed replaced to send it back to where he just got the ecu. well they changed the ic17 and now it has solid cel but does prime and start. Hi! Got sólid cel with no fuel prime , already changed ic17 and all caps and still the same! Already changed caps on other ecus and worked fine! So its not soldering problems... Any tips? Maybe ic12 is damaged?
No power on Q10 pin 1 indicates a bad +5VDC reference - which would affect other things than just fuel pump .The solder joint at Q10 pin 1 could be corroded or damaged with age.if it doesn't work change QM3
@@perrikdesrocers4507 it was definitly the qm3 … now it primes but dumps a lot of fuel… Till the car shuts off… j11 cutted so no external eprom… help? 😅
@@metrogp also if your ecu is chip cut j1 and see first it injector will stay open first . And tell me if you have a solide sel and if not do you have any check engine codes

I turned on the engine check when I stopped to refuel. it lights up and does not go out, it stays on. I tried to make a diagnosis but the light stays on and does not make a diagnosis. I changed ecu and again the same. it does not turn on the petrol pump, nor do I have an ignition at the start. I decked the petrol relay and my pump is working. whenever the gas pump works. the distributor is functional what is the problem ??? all fuses are good
Hello, I have problem with chipped p28, when i turn off car 3 dashboard lights start barely lighting(engine, battery and oil), even if i take the key off from ignition switch. Car runs perfectly. Do you know this problem? With my original ecu p9k i don't have this problem. It looks like shorten circuit on ECU, but it looks fine
So show us the easiest/best way to remove ic17.. I chip as well but am now coming across having to remove ic17 and so far… can’t get all of the solder out without burning the pads…

I have a d16z6 full stock. Recently replaced the capacitors with same specs correct polarity and proper soldering( checked 2x). All running properly but sometimes the CEL pops out. I cannot read any codes after switching off it goes away. If anyone has any suggestions please help. The car runs but I'm not sure why this happens.

When j1 is mounted fuel pump does random things turns on and off solid cel and engine misfires and wont even startup When j1 is cut i have solid cel But pump primes engine starts and I can drive it normally
Great information, I have a P06 that’s running a b20 in a 2000 civic coupe I have a solid CEL and the motor starts and runs (fuel prime) rips actually, full throttle feels great but it bucks at the lower RPMs, I have swapped to other ECUs (obd2) and it runs also with no solid light so I can confirm it’s my obd1 computer but what I’m wondering is will the car still run with a corrupted memory chip? I would assume when an ecu goes bad it wouldn’t run and drive which it does but I cannot tune anywhere around the idle or even 2k rpm and lower it just cuts out and acts like a tps is malfunctioning, I’ve been needing to chip the 28 pin anyway for the b20, is it possible I can get two birds stoned at once and chip my computer (more optimized) and get rid of my solid CEL ?

It would be safe to change them as a precaution, but it could be the HIC modul (the two long vertical PCB), it is responsible for these sensors

Most definitely the capacitor, and with time it will burn the ic17 completely, get new caps as soon as possible

Hey my ECU ground has power but the other pin doesn’t ground for the fuse box…15amp…. Checked everything else
where 4-wire 02 is controlled on p28
The heater circuit is controlled by one of the 3 big circuit on the top left of the ECU , they are Darlington transistors
So show us the easiest/best way to remove ic17.. I chip as well but am now coming across having to remove ic17 and so far… can’t get all of the solder out without burning the pads…
first remove as much solder as you can with desoldering wick or a small vacumpump, then use a smd rework hot air to fully desolder the ic17

Check if the fuel pump is working, it looks like she is the culprit

I have fuel prime, with CEL flashing code 21. (2 long cel flashes & 1 short flash) p06 with hondata S300
That's the obd1 code for VTEC solenoid valve malfunction it I'm not mistaken

Check if the ECU is correctly chipped, and also the condition of the vtec transistor, I believe it's ic13 or ic14

It's most likely one of the STA460c, they are the 3 long circuit on the top left of the ECU, they are responsible of powering the injectors
