I did not know that trick with the fan....Thanks Buddy. I'll certainly be using that from here on out!
I just picked mine up in June. I'm still getting used to it. I don't even use the radio. That's certainly not why I bought it. I put on a Klock Werkz 13.5" windshield. I put on the crash bars in the back, which I really like. I didn't think it was necessary to spend $375 on the front bar. I like the stock one fine. The seats cool too. I will be adding on the back rest. I did also grab one of those Figurati Magnetic dip sticks. Their video absolutely sold me on that. I'm gonna run it for the rest of this year and throw pipes on it next year. I do like the handlebars, but those Thrashin bars and risers are bad ass. Probably do that next year, too.
I came off a Fat Boy, I've been riding for 17 years. I kept that bike. I Freakin Love this bike though. It's definitely the best riding Harley I ever rode. Just hope those electronic problems don't happen to me. Good video!

After 3 months, I’m still learning different things about this bike. Customizing a motorcycle to me is just as exciting as riding. Making it your own! Be safe my friend, and thanks for the comment! 👍✌️

This is the most real video on the new Road Glides I've seen on UA-cam.Thank you!
I am having very difficult time convincing myself to shell out the money for one of these. I do not have any other manufacturers in my town and the people at my local Harley shop are amazing. I want to support them but this bike just does not justify the price tag.
I've been a software developer of 15 years and I can tell you without a doubt in my mind that the reason it takes forever to boot up is because HD cheap'd the fk out on the ECU unit. Thats why all these issues are coming up.
The saddlebags are less sturdy than my tupperware containers.
The speakers just do not work. People try to justify it by saying "oh just listen in your helmet" ... That's not the point... HD charges you for "working" speakers!
The suspension is still behind compared to what is on Indians or even BMW R18B which is literally half the price these days.
The windshield does not do its job.
The whole front fairing is just weird looking to me. Not because of the headlights but the side profile of the whole bike is just weird... Compare the side profile of a 2023 and a 2024. Look at how 2023 follows the line of the gas tank then look at a 2024 side profile.
The tank is way too wide. I am 6'2'' ... I am just not down with spreading my legs for anything.
5:40... I disagree with that statement. You can still customize a perfectly working stock bike to make it yours. With RGs you are doing it because it just does not work the way it is supposed to. This is what I've seen from many Harley riders. Its like, the marketing team brainwashed everyone. The owners all say "I get it, its stock" ... so what? You paid for it to work properly didn't you?
Not even a skid plate??? Are you for real? Your coolant line is fully exposed under the bike behind the front wheel. Now a new owner has to spend even more money just to get it to function properly.
Harley may have reduced the price but they cheap'd out on the bike a whole lot more.

      @badlsxgarage  3 місяці тому

@@bikerinbeta and your absolutely right about my statement @ 5.40. I try to step outside the box, and look at company/consumer views. Some of the things I pointed out like the windshield, even though it looks amazing, they had to know that it wasn’t practical. I’m a vertical challenged man standing at 5’8 5’9” on a good day. That windshield may cover someone 5’4” or under. Your right…aftermarket should be a choice, not a have too!

I just bought mine.I bought the Shark Skin blacked out and out the door I paid $27,300.00 that included tax title everything, I did pay cash for it. It’s not financed. Down the road I’ll worry about the stereo or the speakers whatever’s gonna be needed to be upgraded.

@@TheChuck1960 that’s an awesome deal! I’ve heard a few people getting better deals since Harley went DEI. Lack of sales driving that price down a little. Lowest I’ve heard, now it’s hearsay 25,500. That’s insane if it’s true. Enjoy your bike brother! 👍✌️

Any product/vehicle is personally worth what the customer is willing to pay. From a financial standpoint is it worth $26,000 + fees + taxes + interest ? To me, no. I have a "57 FL, '02 FLHT and '10 FXDC and paid less than $26,000 total for all three. Your bike is sweet. Enjoy your ride.

It’s trying to throw you over the handlebars? Very good review overall, but your thoughts on the included safety features need to come forward into the 21st century. Many times since my first ABS bike, a 2005 FJR, those systems have saved my ass.

@@CHIM601 I recently saw the new zippers cam. Impressive numbers for sure. I’m still holding out. A lot of R&D going on right now for these bikes. I want to make sure that I’m getting the most for my buck. Plus it runs decent right now for what it is. I can wait a few more months. Lol.
People can say what they want about Volunteer Audio, but I honestly believe they are killing it with their audio line for the new 24. 👍✌️

Ok lets start off by Thanking You for putting out a honest , tutorial that ( I ) think speaks to alot of people . Don't get me wrong there's a TON of content about the issues likes and dislikes of the new 2024 HD RG and SG . But for ( ME ) yours just spoke to me , resonated and just overall was on the same thought process as my thoughts for these bikes . I currently ride a 2016 HD street glide with 20,000 miles as of today of this posting that I love for many different reasons but 1 in particular.. IT STARTS ! amongst other things. I'm on my 5th HD 4 of which where Street Glides and countless custom bikes . (i.e.) Bigdogs. So I like to think I know a bit about bikes +/- . Now my likes and dislikes are about the same as yours give or take a few .. So until HD gets their shit together with these new bikes with flashing , not starting , breaking down , oh and flashing again ..I will keep my 2016 SG that starts EVERYTIME ! I like the content that you've put out . Keep up the Great , honest reviews . ~ Bill

The windshield is a joke just another way to make people buy another one. Your take on the tech removing rider control and almost throwing you over the handlebars is priceless! Thank you.

The resale value, and no clutch! If you buy a Harley, it holds its value pretty well. Gold Wing however, not so much! Next, is that no clutch thing with Honda.
