Amazing Aguadilla: Punta Borinquen, La Playuela, Horses, Peña Blanca, Ruins & Mysterious Object!

- We explore the coastline of Aguadilla starting at the Punta Borinquen Golf Course and heading into Borinquen Beach. Then we visit the lighthouse ruins, Faro de la Ponderosa as well as some of Wilderness. We meet Elena Franco and Alejandro Ramos, the owners of Playuelas Horse Rides who give us a tour of their operation and the we go a little off-road to explore more of La Playuela. While we were there we came upon a strange, mysterious and beautiful object -a pyramid of mirrors or La Piramide de Cristal! We also explore Peña Blanca before calling it good. There is so much to explore in this area, so give yourself plenty of time!

Thank you for taking me back to one of my favorite place in PR. I love the town of Aguadilla. One thing I observed in my latest trip to la isla is that the Snake plant grows wild near the beaches. I noticed them again on your video. Who knew? I have them at home in TX in pots because I have to bring them in when the weather gets cold. I never noticed that as a child or even as a 20 something young woman when I lived in the island. The things we take for granted. Love the videos, such a beautiful work picturing the Flora and Fauna. -Boricua en Texas

@@LifeTransPlanet snorkeling is safe in Isabela Pozo Teodoro ! Magical place, my husband took me there 25 years ago and it’s still my favorite snorkeling spot!

Hi there. I just love your videos. I was just in PR . While cruising from INE side of the island from Vega Baja to Lajas we took the longer into the woods route and I found one of the flowers I saw on your video and I fell in love. It’s called a lobster claw. I put it in water hoping It roots. I return to the island in June.
Hi Joanne! The lobsterclaws are usually "heliconias" they are usually propagated by root and sometimes seeds. They are just lovely. So glad you enjoyed your time!

Cassie, that old ruin of the lighthouse is a beautiful piece of History. Must have been a large beacon back in it's day to guide ships. I wonder have they lit the lights back then? As always, you look absolutely gorgeous in your bikini swimming in paradise. I can never say that enough😊

Very good video of my town Aguadilla. I didn’t know about the couple who have the HorW back riding etc, if anyone asks me I can send them over there. The Peña Blanca Beach doesn’t look as beautiful as it used to. When we got hit by Hurricane Maria, seems as it knocked down a lot of rocks and where you went down the steps now it’s all full of rocks, one used to be able to go in that “cave” and put ones stuff and chairs. Thanks for your interest in Aguadilla!!
Hi RCalero! Thanks! Yes, even after Hurricane Maria there was still some sandy beach over there on Pena Blanca that now seems to be washed away. Sometimes sand will come back after a time. Let's hope so!
