14 year old girl found shot to death in Raleigh apartment

- Police are investigating after officers found a 14-year-old dead in a Raleigh apartment early Monday morning. Officers responded to The Trails of North Hills Apartments in the 1900 block of North Hills Drive off Lead Mine Road around 2:30 a.m. Upon arrival, they found the young girl already dead with injuries from a gunshot. A representative for the girl's family says the victim as an 8th grader and described the apartment as a 'party house.' They say she did not live in the apartment where she was found dead.
