This is hands down the best commentary I've ever heard from a game, fantastic! I think for a better ambience this should have been a cam recording of a big screen with an enthusiastic audience and no music. At least that's how I'd love to see it.

@Savipalooza Yes. Boost dodging was removed in 2k4. A boost dodge is a walldodge with a double jump added in for extra height. It was performed via (wall right hand side) jump -> left strafe -> jump -> left strafe. Last 3 key presses were done within the normal dodge timing. Go open up 2k4 and 2k3 and try it in both, you'll find it only works in one game. A boost dodge and a wall dodge are not the same maneuver.

In CS all players in your team have to be synchronized to do a tactical pushes, and each player have to learn to hold recoil and learn when to shoot, if you are UT player and come to CS you won't hit anyone because of recoil, if CS player come to UT, won't hit anyone because of aim.
Man. I'm an RTS player, not FPS, but this game seems so awesome. Such a high skillcap, with so many useful weapons that all have to be used at the right time. LG, shock rifle combos, shield gun, etc. So many possibilties. Hardcore / oldschool FPS > Shit like CoD.
Really good match, I felt I was there. Agreed, consoles are messing up pro-gaming badly by getting all the devs to focus on their platforms and give us bad ports, the next UT MUST be PC lead plat and cater more speed like it used to, not slow things down more like in UT3.
we had such a good mod community. maybe 1 will make a game like ut2k4 once again. taking over the crap of the last 8 years shooters. why does nobody do it anymore? hiding and health regen is for amateurs!!! doesn't epic know that they can have all these fans back again if they simply copy the game they have made. it still amused us for many years after any other game would have become old. a true masterpiece that never gets old if you dont rip apart the community.
