Lets hope this years hurricane forecast is every bit as accurate as last winters forecasts for the Rt. 95 corridor. All those heavy el nino induced snow storms and nor'easters that were predicted but never materialized for the NYC vicinity.
Yeah, they said the same thing last year - the oceans are boiling hot and everyone on the Atlantic coast and the gulf will die because of these massive hurricanes that will pummel the coastlines in an endless string of destructive forces. So massive, we were told, they were going to have to revamp the categories to include "massive" beyond "Cat 5" to properly cover these new monster storms. And nothing happened.😑
