I compare them to their cartoon color versions as well. Chill out and enjoy this through look at many of the less known Captain Planet action figures from Tiger Electronics. 1991 to 1992 range of vintage toys

I enjoy recycling these old toys into my collection. Keeps them out of the landfill.

Never knew Planeteer has many variants. Dig the vehicle backpack.

They were fun at the time. Now I just like having the group of colors on the shelf.

Yes! New video! I didn't watch much Captain Planet growing up, but it's cool to see that there were so many different figures.

I'm hoping it's enjoyable to see for people that don't know about them or the show this way. And I've not seen anyone else showcase the line in this detail. But Cap is almost wrapped up, ready to cover a lot of other stuff from the same time period.

Nice collection. I have the other variant you mentioned of Linka with the extra paint on the T-shirt. Worth picking up if you can find it cheap. On a related note with Linka, I think her head sculpt could be better as with how things stand, you'd be forgiven for thinking she has shorter hair than Gi. The pony tail is barely noticeable.

I will likely get one so I can show her parachute since I haven't show that feature yet in any video, and it looks just one little bit better really. And since I have pretty much shown every figure besides 1 extra rare Cap one.

Nice video and recap. What do you use to film your figs with?
There are even more SUB variants if you want to get into shoelaces and other small paint job changes based on production location and time.

Yes there are always a few paint discrepancies; I just try to stay on their official different releases.
I just use a standard home video HD camera with a flip screen build in since it is easier, and far less expensive. I would like a more serious one but the channel would need to start makin that money for that, ha ha ha.

i really miss seeing all the cool repaints toylines were once able to get out of their molds. I could spend hours staring at all the planet variants in this toyline alone! seeing this planeteer showcase actually reminded me of some of my favorite batman mission masters 4 releases. anyways thanks for showing off your collection man. always a pleasure 😃

I know most of these were shelf warmers at the time, but a lot of this line was I guess.
I like to show how beautiful they really were once they are all together. I'm always in favor of the accurate colors but for a collection, having the very toyish alternate colors is really fun to see. But the original Planeteers all have pretty perfect play features. Too bad Kwame and Mati didn't get solid ones though.

@@MBXfilms I know exactly what you mean. These days not as much effort goes into redecos anymore. What few we do get just arent as interesting and usually double as some deep cut reference for the fans. There just isnt as much creativity to be found in most action figure lines as there used to be.

My favorites were from X-Men, with Polaris out of Rogue and the first ever Jean Grey out of Domino. ToyBiz was great at those.

@@benANDjun Getting whole new characters out of it is great, like a fighting game using clones to get more characters into the game.
