- I open a valuable NEW ADVENTURES OF CAPTAIN PLANET action figure, the Anti Radiation Armor version of Cap himself in this unboxing and review of the 1994 retro toy.
If we are being honest and frankly no body ever reads this descriptions, this cost me like $100 just for this one figure, so I hope you really apricate the opening and showing here. I can't believe you ripped open that super rare Captain Planet action figure just now!
Well, the 4th & 5th seasons of the series had the same opening with new narration & music.
Yeah that rap intro song isn't annoying at all. And the big green talking mouth; very hip.

@DennisTamayo Ah I see. They released season 1 on DVD and I never saw them do the rest so it's been a while since seeing them. I just remember that was very shocking once they hit that point, and the episodes were crazier also.
Why they didn't make the *actual* Captain Pollution toy have those more accurate colors is anyone's guess.
They would have had plenty of reference by then, he was a late addition not an early one. Maybe it was a design choice to have more colors? Oh well, sometimes the weird toy differences are fun to look back on now.

But isn't he powered by sun light? That's radiation energy. That armour would depower him in fact. I really hope someone got fired over that *adjust glasses *
It's pretty vague on what's good and bad for him. "Bad" radiation from poorly stored or disposed of waste, he's weak to. I assume naturally occurring and sunlight is all good. If you hand him a piece of paper he is fine, if you wad it up and throw it at him he may wince...
