NovaScopes are stained glass geodesic kaleidoscopes by David Sugich. They are available in various sizes and designs from 8” up. Some of them have a built-in wand to enhance the viewing experience while there are others that are slimmer and easier to handle. This video shows how 12” slim star novascope and 8” mini novascope compare.

Have you seen the Roy Cohn Kaleidoscopes that are for sale?
I think I have one though I have not shown here. Which one do you mean?
Does your novascope have small pieces of glass inside that move around i cant work out if mines broken ir they come like that
they have loose "beads." That's a feature, not a bug :)
The mini is 250 dollar the baby 350/380 dollar. Is it worth to save for the " baby" kaleidoscope or is the " mini" just as good? Thanks.
I don’t see these on your website. Where can I find them?
my site is this: www.gadgetify.com/?s=novascope there are a bunch others who are copying my site's name. But you can find new models here: www.novascopes.com/
@@Gadgetify thank you!
Do you have to use a flashlight or can you go outside for natural light?
check these out: ua-cam.com/users/Gadgetifysearch?query=novascope A few of them I took outside. Reality is you have more control with a flashlight but it works outside. You just have to work a bit harder to get the same result. But these perfectly work fine outside :)
What’s the working of this thing?
glasses xd
Are the colors static?
it depends. I use a regular flash light, RGB light, and black light and you can kind of experiment.
Would you say the 12” is worth the added cost?
If you are just getting your feet wet with these, then I guess the smaller ones are just fine. I have 8 to 16 inch ones and I don't regret buying smaller ones. Also depends on the version you get. Not all 12 or 8 inchers are the same. I have a few comparison that might help:

In general, I like the 12 inchers better as they are not too big and still pretty trippy.
@@Gadgetify what all is the difference between the slim 12 and the regular 12 I get that it’s slimmer but does that impact it much, or is the eye window just larger? Any take on the nova vs nova star?
@@Gadgetify also curious which ones are better for natural light or if they’re still trippy without a flashlight on them, id imagine the lighter exterior panels are better and shine more light through? Or do the colors of the exterior panels not have much impact? Seems like they are all pretty multi colored on the inside.
@@Adamprivate678 I like the regular one better. The slimmer ones in general are narrower. For instance, I like the thick 8 inch ones better than narrow 12 inch ones. Specially for videos. I have an easier time getting great video with thicker scopes.
@@Adamprivate678 The way novascopes are designed, changing light conditions around them works best. Whether it is a flashlight or when I go in my backyard and just move around in sunny weather.
Honestly, the only problem I have with Novascopes is they are pricey but they take a lot of effort to make as David Sugich would tell you. These never get old and I don't think they lose value either. I'd assume you'd get all of your money back if you had to sell it. Not that I would ever sell mine .
Thats so gd beautiful
glad you liked it :)
novascopes remind me of dmt trips
yep
How much are those
Smaller ones are around $400 (maybe less), the larger, the more expensive. Prices has changed, so I encourage you to check their site www.novascopes.com/
Where to order
www.novascopes.com/ but these are handmade and go out of stock often
They’re in stock now. You can purchase them right now.
@@narekzakaryan thank you mate
I’m getting one of these
$600 is a good deal for both
they are the smaller ones. Larger ones go for a lot higher
Wouldn't that be considered a Teleidoscope?
not from my understanding though I could be wrong. From all I know about scopes, a classic teleidoscope has an open view, so the objects outside affect the image. Novascope mostly works with lights around it. Whether I am holding it next to a cat or tree, the image is not affected.
