Yes I don't understand why my daughter who has amazing artistic talent doesn't take her art seriously. Who says you can't make a living out of it. Who cares what people say start your own business. If I had talent to her extent I wouldn't waste it.

Even now, at age 60+, I can still remember countless hours fascinated by the ever-changing images in my Kaleidoscopes as a young'un. I had a couple of them in different sizes, and they were among my favorite toys for years.
Probably the only toys I didn't disassemble.

Probably not all kaleidoscopes are handmade. It looks like quite complex process.

I don’t think so. I used to make these and you have to use first surface mirrors which are super expensive. If you notice, this guy used first surface mirrors as well as the mirror was on both the inside and outside of the glass. I used to sell mine for $100 each. I’m not well versed in the price of LSD, but I don’t believe it costs that much.

In Mexico some years ago in primary school we were taught to make kaleidoscopes. We used pieces of coloured glasses that run freely inside the item. It might not being as elaborated as the ones in the video, yet it is awesome. Cheers.
