This Sherlock is the most human, ever depicted on the screen. He humanizes his own and just drug abuse in general. The abuse rises from the lack of connection and emotional pain. When he sees Kitty wanting to connect with him, he immediately throws the drugs away.
His brain may easily connect the dots of crime cases, but his heart struggles to make meaningful connections with people.

Just an opinion. But I prefer this to be the end of season. The chain of events builded up lots of suspend. The frustration they went through results in more satisfaction to me.

This sherlock was awesome. But i love benedict’s one more. This may humaize sherlock but how he was portrayed in books was showed to perfection in bbc one. That sherlock only felt genuine concern for a few people.. also it maintained the uniqueness of sherlock by keeping john as human as possible. Joan was a dectective herself which kinds made sherlock less unqiue.. the show is mo doubt awesome.. but bbc one is better n more true to the inspiration
