This is great! I found after the prime, airbrushing my darker red over the entire mini and than all I had to do was paint the brighter red.

This is incredible. I've never painted miniatures before and I was thinking of getting this game and getting started here. Is there a paints set which will contain all of these or do they have to be bought separately
Well I’m glad you found the page and like it! I would recommend the base set from citadel and slowly add paints to your collection as time goes on. It’s taken me years to build my paint collection.

I wish I had an unpainted set to do but I had painted those miniatures way before I started a UA-cam channel. If I had unpainted ones I would paint them up and do videos for them. I will be doing videos for Frosthaven!
@@nerdknights1122 got my red guard done, I went a little darker than yours. Had a lot of trouble with the chest plate, mine didn’t seem to have much definition on it at all so was hard to pull out the highlights. I also went a bit of a purple skin colour for the skin and tail. No idea how to put a photo in here to show it

@@nerdknights1122 yeah agree. I only got it earlier this year, the game is amazing but the miniatures that we’ve unlocked so far are terrible, with a couple of exceptions like the cragheart
@@aussiebrad79 agreed. Hopefully Frosthaven has better quality miniatures.
Your painting is a lot better than mine, but wanted to have something simple and play ready as soon as possible than something not painted.
Practice makes perfect. I try to keep the painting schemes easy as my goal is to just get them painted for the table. Not trying to win competitions here.
There is a nasty mould line across the torso on this miniature. How did you get rid of it? I find there is kind of a recess where the line runs
I ended up using a combination of a craft knife and a file to get all of the mold lines down.
Do you hit your finished minis with a matte spray to protect? If so what are you using? Cheers!
I do most of the time if I remember. I use Testors dull coat. I probably should put that in the videos.
@@nerdknights1122 I've seen most folks use that and I'll be darned if I can't find it anywhere.

What does the Lahmian Medium do? What can I use this for?
It basically thins your paints but not at the same consistency. It makes it much easier to layer your paints as well.
Do you have a paint list for these models?
It should be in the comments of the video.
