I don't know what you're talking about. The Giants offensive line was terrible that year. McKenzie and Diehl were way past their prime. The only reason why they even look remotely good was because the Green Bay defense was utter garbage that year and couldn't generate a pass rush to save it's life. It's ultimately what did them in.

I hear that the refs screwed the giants on that fumble by the packers and said he was down wtf was that wtf were the refs looking at. If the giants lost that game it would of been the refs fault just like the refs screwed the Steelers and Texans against the pats when the pats were suppose to lose but refs bail out Brady and belichick again but I try and tell pats masshole fans that and they don't see it cause new England pats fans are the most cockiest biased hypocritical fans ever going all the way back to 2001 snow job against the raiders.

Xavier Vega Being surrounded by packer fans, all I heard all season was how the pack were going to easily repeat as champions. To watch this game and see the outrageously bad calls going against the Giants made me realize that indeed the fix was in. Oh, but that joyous Giant team rose to the occasion and curb stomped this celebrated 15-1 team, and after they did that, I jumped on their bandwagon and rode it all the way to their beautiful victory over my SECOND most despised team, the New England Patriots. Man, 2011 was a good year.

It's so blatantly obvious that the referees in this game were out of their ever loving minds, and that said, this has to go down as one of the most improbable victories in NFL history, even more than the Giant's win over the undefeated Patriots in the Super Bowl in 2007. To go into Lambeau field and beat a packer team that lost ONE single game all season, AND had a first round bye in the playoffs, and deal with a ridiculously biased referee group, you've climbed and conquered a mountain that so few football teams could have ever done.

Lol, I'm not a Giants fan, but damn. I'm convinced that Tom Coughlin is a genius. Earlier that season, the Giants faced these Packers in Week 13. It was an epic shootout where the Giants lost by 3 points. Game ended 38-35. It's Crazy they went from losing to the Packers at home by 3 to crushing them on their turf in the Playoffs by 17 points. What's even more crazy is how you could compare it to 2007. It's eerily similar to when the Giants faced the Patriots in the regular season and lost 38-35 as well and went on to beat them in the Super Bowl.

You go 15-1 in the regular season, you're playing a 9-7 Giants team that should be nowhere near the postseason, and you've got the officiating crew helping you out in every way imaginable. This was an atrocious game as a Packers fan not just because we lost but because we didn't lose clean. I'm a huge Packers fan and I love them to death but the score should have been 10-37 if we're being honest. I've seen worse officiated games than this but this has to be up in my Top 10 worst officiated games. I'm all about my team winning in the interest of fairness and too many times during this game the refs changed the flow and got the Packers at least within striking distance of the game and putting Coughlin in tough situations to challenge or not challenge a call. Things the refs could have clearly controlled but didn't, idk it just left a sour taste in my mouth losing like that.

To be honest they were the most overrated 15-1 team ever. That record was strictly because of Aaron Rodgers's brilliance that season. Their defense was bad all year, they had very little run game to speak of, and the receiving corps had trouble getting seperation. Rodgers had to hold the ball for ridiculous amounts of time for them to get open. (and the refs at Lambeau let the Green Bay o-line get away with murder all year) The one game Rodgers was anything less then lights out the Packers got exposed.

    • @xaviervega468

@Random Guy2000 No excuses at all, anyone who actually watched that Packers team knows they weren't nearly as good as their record states. Their defense was ranked butt-naked last all year, with their only saving grace being that they forced turnovers. They had no running game to speak of and got ridiculous amounts of home-cooking from the refs all year. Rodgers had an all-time great year for a QB and covered up A LOT of the team's flaws.

@@xaviervega468 they had so much wr depth it was insane, aside from not having a good running game, they didnt necessarily lack anything, especially offensively. Their defense was bend but dont break which is beneficial to a high powered offense, which the packers were, i mean matt flynn came in and threw for 500 yards and like 5 tds that year.

@@larryking2698 Really?? They had Greg Jennings and Jordy Nelson and not much after that. Donald Driver was on his last legs that season and Jermichael Finley had hands of stone.

The Packers receivers were wide open the whole game. Aaron Rodgers didn't carry the receivers.

Rodgers wasn't perfect this game, but people blame him way too much considering all the drops and fumbles. He had no margin for error.

They have been rigging for decades.
If you want proof on rigging just look at 2:50, 7:40, and 10:30.
Review and still miss the fumble, look at ball placement, and roughing the passer. They wanted Packers so bad but Giants were meant to be just like 2007. A bigger blowout if it wasn't for the blatant rigging.

Damn they got smacked, overall had a chance late only down 7 but too many dropped passes

Such a great run that team had. Wish that magic could’ve been unlocked in more seasons than they did. I’m definitely proud that two of the biggest underdogs to win a super bowl were from the New York Giants during Eli’s career. I say he’s a HOF player even though the media doesn’t think it.

Just wanted to point out that this is the same officiating crew that screwed the Seahawks out of SuperBowl XL against the Steelers.
