The Giants completely dominated that game from start to finish. They were unstoppable. Just like they were in 2007 of course when they beat the undefeated Pats. During those years, Eli and the Giants were incredible when playing great teams. Nothing to lose for them as complete underdogs every time so they played the game and just took it away from everyone they played. What a great few years for the Giants and their fans!

This was when I knew the Giants deserved to win the Super Bowl. They achieved so much against all odds. The one team that could’ve taken them out was the Saints and luckily the 49ers took care of them.
I just realized during that run of the giants from 2008 to 2012 the giants beat a 15 and 1 and a 16 and 0 team craziest run all time for a team came out of no where
Giants fan here. Still cannot believe how good the Giants were and how bad the Packers were in this game. This along with what he did in Jacksonville as their first head coach, Tim Coughlin deserves to be in the Hall of Fame. His best coach season by far was 2007 and 2011. He was excellent
This game was the game that made me realize football is out of my control and not to take it so seriously. Never make a single team be a part of my personality, and understand that it’s all for fun.
How did the refs give the Packers both of their TDs? Do you think Kuhn was down? Maybe you think Driver didn’t catch the ball? You’re wrong, both plays were clearly TDs.
To be honest they were the most overrated 15-1 team ever. That record was strictly because of Aaron Rodgers's brilliance that season. Their defense was bad all year, they had very little run game to speak of, and the receiving corps had trouble getting seperation. Rodgers had to hold the ball for ridiculous amounts of time for them to get open. (and the refs at Lambeau let the Green Bay o-line get away with murder all year) The one game Rodgers was anything less then lights out the Packers got exposed.
@Random Guy2000 No excuses at all, anyone who actually watched that Packers team knows they weren't nearly as good as their record states. Their defense was ranked butt-naked last all year, with their only saving grace being that they forced turnovers. They had no running game to speak of and got ridiculous amounts of home-cooking from the refs all year. Rodgers had an all-time great year for a QB and covered up A LOT of the team's flaws.
@@xaviervega468 they had so much wr depth it was insane, aside from not having a good running game, they didnt necessarily lack anything, especially offensively. @@larryking2698 Really?? They had Greg Jennings and Jordy Nelson and not much after that. Donald Driver was on his last legs that season and Jermichael Finley had hands of stone.
They have been rigging for decades. If you want proof on rigging just look at 2:50, 7:40, and 10:30. Review and still miss the fumble, look at ball placement, and roughing the passer. They wanted Packers so bad but Giants were meant to be just like 2007. A bigger blowout if it wasn't for the blatant rigging.

I'm all about my team winning in the interest of fairness and too many times during this game the refs changed the flow and got the Packers at least within striking distance of the game and putting Coughlin in tough situations to challenge or not challenge a call. Things the refs could have clearly controlled but didn't, idk it just left a sour taste in my mouth losing like that.
RomanceHD nah, you guys had turnovers everywhere and Rogers missing passes. Eli didn’t make mistakes and Rogers did that’s what it came down to
RomanceHD your 2011 season packers were to arrogant and big headed they thought they could beat every nfl team but that's what packers get for being arrogant and having high hope's
RomanceHD 4
You’re just a sore loser. The packers were 15-1 that year. If the refs had an impact, the packers shouldn’t have lost by 17 against a team that was 9-7 with the worst run game in the league.
Yeah the officiating was pretty bad.
Packers went one and done at 15-1😂😂
As a Bears fan, that puts a big smile on my face.
Something about Giants in the playoffs. Once they get there, they win. Amazing
Not really, we lost badly against the Ravens back in 2000
@@elmexicanosur13 well that ravnes team was staked no one was beating them
@@skinnynick3371 true that.. still we lost to the packers as well in 2016
@@elmexicanosur13 ik that was so disappointing when odell and crew went on the boat trip, then started dropping passes all day 🤬
@@skinnynick3371 i know right! Looked as if they had put freaking butter on their gloves. I was fucking pissed off bro. Are you also a Giants fan?
Giants showed the packers how to Hail Mary.
Mike and what did Aaron Rodgers do to them 5 years later in the playoffs
@@matthewjoseph236 does it matter? EVERYBODY who saw that game knows they won by fucking luck and only bc we were collapsing from the inside out. Oh and btw what did they do after they beat is that year? Hmmm exactly how far did they make?? Oh shit not to the SB apparently.....

@@angryswede5050 not at all. The past is the past and they haven't done shit since. A great QB who can't win em a SB. What a great QB he must be 🤣🤣
Edgar Ramirez you def mad as hell wym Rodgers did win an sb
This was my favorite Giants playoff team, with Nicks, Cruz and Manningham Eli and crew spanked the boots off the Packers. Even with refs clearly in the cheeseheads pockets
JPP was such a BEAST that year. I miss him as a Giant
The refs should have been investigated after this game they were trying to throw the game
Giants own that stadium since 2007
Amazing how horrible the officiating in this game was..you can almost see the green and yellow under the refs shirts
How was the officiating “horrible?”
@@Calvin1985 did you not see the fumble they called down
@@aaronbrown1348 yes I did see it, which is why I said what I said. It was the right call.
@@Calvin1985 Dude just watch the video, fumble overturned, terrible first down spot, etc. The guys in the vid even said the refs were doing terrible officiating.
@@Calvin1985 oh yeah I also forgot the roughing the passer call
we dominated that game and there were 5 calls that went against us
Eli has awesome playoff runs Favre, Romo, Brady plus this run Aaron, top 49ers D, Brady.
Welp. My 14-2 Ravens lost to a 6th seeded team. I guess I know how Packers fans must’ve felt after this game.
The double edged beauty of the NFL. Any given Sunday.
only difference is the packers lost with the refs cheating for them.
I miss Bradshaw
Hrainey 18 Imagine Bradshaw and Barkley together rn the 2headed monster
Dude...I know. I miss Bradshaw’s running style. He was 200 lbs soaking wet but ran like the power of a 250 lb full back. When he mowed over the Jet’s safety Smith late in 2011, I got an erection.
And Jacobs
The 2011 Giants were RELENTLESS. 🤯
Eli could have watched all 3 lord of the rings movies with all that time in the pocket
Extended versions too
I remember leading up to this week and telling everyone that the Giants would win this game and go to the super Bowl and play my Pats. We all know how that ended...
Not well.
I'm a pats fan and Eli Manning is one of most underrated qb of history.
He always will. NOBODY will show him respect for his wins.
Man I miss these Gaints
Eli needs that time to throw like that again like when the last time you heard, good protection from giants O-line 🤔🤔🤔
When Chris Snead and David Diehl retired the O-line started going to shit.
This was when I knew the Giants deserved to win the Super Bowl. They achieved so much against all odds. The one team that could’ve taken them out was the Saints and luckily the 49ers took care of them.
If the Giants had played like this consistently over the years in the regular season and actually made the playoffs , Eli might have seven rings
Who else misses when they didn’t show the winner right away and you would relax and watch these highlight vids in full awe
5:56 guess the packers have a history of allowing hail mary tds right before halftime
I just realized during that run of the giants from 2008 to 2012 the giants beat a 15 and 1 and a 16 and 0 team craziest run all time for a team came out of no where
And now the #1 seed packers just lost to the #6 seed 49ers lol!
Giants fan here. Still cannot believe how good the Giants were and how bad the Packers were in this game. This was undoubtedly Eli's best season, and you can see from these highlights how many crucial passes he was putting on the money that were just not a consistent thing for him in the last 5+ years of his career.
We need a running game like that
Here after the Giants just made it to the divisional round for the first time in over 10 years :)
I like how Rodgers actually tried to recover the fumble unlike some other QBs.
@12:00 one of the reasons i loved Eli, wasnt afraid to throw a block now and again
I guess the Tom coughlin Giants are known for greatest upsets
15-1 Packers
18-1 Patriots
I would've loved to see those Giants against a Pete Carroll Seahawks,
And the undefeated 1998 Broncos who lost to Kent Graham
And don’t forget the 49Ers team that was on the verge of winning three Super Bowls in a row.
That niners team Coughlin beat was Harbaughs best defense too compared to his other remaining season.
You know something, I've always dreamed of seeing a playoff matchup of the Giants vs Seahawks. Unfortunately, that's not going to happen anytime soon due to the fact that the Giants suck right now.
@@robbyosborne9708 Hawks arn't much better as well.
Best comment from the higlights:
Dieon Sanders talking about the bad call on the fumble by Jennings: "He must have went in a phone booth, cuz he didnt go in no regular booth." Lol best comment hand down
Sweet Memories From My Freshman Year In College #GiantsPride🏈
Back in those days, whether the Giants were 10-7 or 9-7 whatever, you didn't want to meet them in the playoffs. Giants gold!
This along with what he did in Jacksonville as their first head coach, Tim Coughlin deserves to be in the Hall of Fame. His best coach season by far was 2007 and 2011. He was excellent
Refs tried to rig it but packers were truly outplayed
Bryson Holley agreed, the NFL has financial incentive to rig games against the Packers so teams from big cities win.
Us 49ers should have took notes after this game!
Good qb+ good o line= 308 yards passing per game
Wish the giants still had these gods on the team
This is a perfect example of why Rodgers is nowhere near Tom Brady's level and I'm an Eagles fan....
I’m a giants fan. But the Packers did have butterfingers in this game.
brady lost to the same giants team in the super bowl 🤣
@@amrannahshal738 1 has won 6 super bowls the other has only won once, either way brady is still the better qb

This game was the game that made me realize football is out of my control and not to take it so seriously. Never make a single team be a part of my personality, and understand that it’s all for fun.
Refs gave the Packers both of their touchdowns and they still got blown out.
How did the refs give the Packers both of their TDs? Do you think Kuhn was down? Maybe you think Driver didn’t catch the ball? You’re wrong, both plays were clearly TDs.
Giants had one great receiver after the other...I would settle for just one right now...
The Packers. The dynasty that never was.
first time giants won the super bowl they beat a 16-0 and the second time they beat a 15-1 team truly 2 special runs.
And Packers were the Current Champs at that time.
Doesn't seem like it's been 11 years since this SB Run.
15-1 lmao straight choked
Their defense was bend but dont break which is beneficial to a high powered offense, which the packers were, i mean matt flynn came in and threw for 500 yards and like 5 tds that year.
@@larryking2698 Really?? They had Greg Jennings and Jordy Nelson and not much after that. Donald Driver was on his last legs that season and Jermichael Finley had hands of stone.
@@xaviervega468
The Packers receivers were wide open the whole game. Aaron Rodgers didn't carry the receivers.
i miss our team being this good so much. If only we could play games like we used to.
So much for the big bad pack!
Rodgers wasn't perfect this game, but people blame him way too much considering all the drops and fumbles. He had no margin for error.
I miss Eli and when the giants could win games.
Damn they got smacked, overall had a chance late only down 7 but too many dropped passes
Such a great run that team had. Wish that magic could’ve been unlocked in more seasons than they did. I’m definitely proud that two of the biggest underdogs to win a super bowl were from the New York Giants during Eli’s career. I say he’s a HOF player even though the media doesn’t think it.
12:03 Eli with the block ! 😎
Just wanted to point out that this is the same officiating crew that screwed the Seahawks out of SuperBowl XL against the Steelers.
