Arbitrary code execution working on SMW in Nintendo Switch Online?
...makes me kinda wonder if we'll be seeing people finding out some way to jailbreak and hack their switch just by playing Super Mario World.
I would generally _assume_ NSO's emulator was built such that there would be no way for code running _inside_ it to access memory _outside_ of it... but then again I know software development is often sloppy enough to miss those kinds of things.

The kernel is pretty well made with little surface area, unless they make a big mistake with an update it won't happen.

Generally won't be possible. Same case as the Pokemon Game Boy games released on 3DS Virtual Console. The emulated game is completely isolated.
