It’s tradition for our family to stop there and get “squeaky” cheese and pepperoni when we go to the coast. If we are really lucky, we get Tillamook ice cream too! Love the Oregon Coast!

I went to the Tillamook factory years ago while visiting a friend. Such fun! I just got my treat box from Japan today. We tried the treats you all sampled around Christmas. Love when you give new things a try. 💜💜💜💜

When we left Astoria for Tillamook on Feb 23rd there was so much snow everything was closed. We ended up heading home to southern Oregon. So I am glad you are posting this video so I can at least virtually visit!

The glass piece at 2.55 from Holmegaard is Noah's Ark. My sister used to work for Holmegaard. She lives in the same town where the factory was build back in 1825.

This is a very nice goodwill lovely set up.
If you have a Grocery Outlet (I think each store is privately owned) they carry the Tonys large candy bars for $1.99-2.99. The chocolate is so thick and they have great flavors like white milk chocolate with peppermint bits, you can freeze them for a treat this summer! That thrift store you were in was very expensive and you're too polite to say so!
I remember the first time I saw one of those potato dishes 9:00 at the thrift store. I thought it was ridiculous looking but apparently they were a thing! Someone told me their family served the potatoes in one for every holiday dinner. Who knew? 🤷♀️
Love your visit to Tillamook, been a while since I've done the tour. Growing up in the PNW I grew up with Tillamook products, great cheese curds.

As a 'west coaster' Tillamook has been my go to cheese. And Beechers.

You should have stopped at the Tillamook Smoker just north of the cheese factory. They have really good deals on Tillamook beef jerky, beef sticks and other yummy Tillamook treats!

I think that Mama Bunny is from Costco? I just got the boy one in the original box. And when I did research, he was from Costco.

I love the Tillamook Cheese Factory! I used to own a house in Oceanside, which isn’t too far from Tillamook. My boys and I went to the cheese factory at least once a month when we’d spend time at our beach house. Great memories! Thanks!

Thank you for this! My daughter and I were just there about a year and a half ago but the factory part was still closed from Covid protocol. So we totally missed that part. I loved that place!!

Japanese dolls: Hakata dolls. Very collectible. Tillamook is “real” cheese. The only kind for me…especially their yellow cheddar.

You would think 2# block of cheese would be cheaper buying it at the factory. It didn't seem so when I was there.
Most times, you can go across the road and get it at Fred Meyer Grocery at a better price. The factory is fun, but has tourists prices.

Yes it does. No matter how well machinery is maintained, there is always a risk that metal fragments can enter food from metal processing and conveying equipment. This protects the consumer, and most food processors do this.
I love the bookmarks. Cheese is so good and sadly like so many good things too much is not good for you.:( Cows actually make loving and loyal pets. I mean I wouldn't want one in the house, but a barn cow might be fun. Some cheese stinks....I wouldn't want to work with that cheese lol.☺

Welcome to our Oregon Goodwills! They have gotten ridiculous with their prices! I was actually surprised that there was a $.99 item at this store, the lowest price I ever see at my local one is $4.99. It’s still fun to look though, you just never know if there’s a treasure.
For my piquler taste Laura Burchs art is a little scary.
Probably not a good idea to try to take body parts home on the plane.
