Happy birthday, Erik! What an epic day of food and celebration. In the Philly area, NY style pizza is much more prevalent. But, when I have had Chicago-style pizza (specifically at Pizzeria UNO), I definitely prefer it. On another note, those brussels sprouts and cauliflower dishes at the fancy restaurant looked SO GOOD.

Instant licked the video. Happy birthday. Good doughnuts are like Texas BBQ . They sell out fast and close up. You have to make another Texas trip and head to Lockhart BBQ capital of Texas.
The Chicago deep dish is really good, but I grew up in St. Louis so the St. Louis thin crust will always be my favorite.

That Chicago style pizza was wayyyyy too thin to be actual Chicago style, and I was so sad for you when the donut places you tried to go to were closed, and I cried out at the well done steak man.
