- " Miss Misery "
Since you came into my life
It's the same old situation
Empty days and lonely nights
Filled with bitterness and frustration.
Walking lonely in the cold
Tryin' to find the answer
Spend my money on a crystal ball
And the charms of a gypsy dancer.
Tryin' to break the spell you hold on me
Chorus:
You're miss misery
That song you lay on me
Set me free, set me free
Please, please, please
Everyday is filled with shame
My nights are filled with anger
Hollow lies, forced denial
If you told the truth I can't remember.
You know I've got to find my way
Got to find a reason
Got to find your weakness
So I can end your witchin' season.
Got to break the spell you hold on me
Chorus:
Lead:
Can't think how I got myself
Caught up in this nightmare
Evil schemes, midnight screams
Come on somebody listen to my prayer
I'd give all I've got to give
Just to find my way out
Got it going but I can't let go
I'm trapped on this crazy 'round about
Tryin' to break the spell you hold on me
RIP Dan McCafferty thank you for the music 🎶

@@mikemayer764 .yes.my.friends.ok
Totally agree !!!!
Hair Of The Dog is one of the very rare albums that's absolutely perfect. Flawless from start to finish.
I totally agree, Steve!👍😎🤘
McCafferty will be rediscovered. His voice sounds as good as in seventies. Timeless.
If you don't think Nazareth "Hair of the Dog" is one of the Best Hard Rock albums EVER put out, You haven't heard it yet!!.......Top 5!!!...EVER!!!!
Yes it is a Perfect Song , So well written and played, truly a work of art. Also shows the hands of time hasn't changed ones perspective on the doings of a Miss. Doe. 😅 Thank You Nazareth. MDB 1975
Skipped many a class burning one and listening to this.
The hair stands up on my arms when that hard sounding guitar riff kicks in at the beginning. Man that is some heavy sounding old school rock perfection. No one sounded like that back then. Man that's good!
Dan is a God!!!!!That damm voice!!!!
I wonder if they realized that this is one of the heaviest tunes that came out of the 70's...
Still listen to this on a regular basis.
F n OLD SCHOOL......I was listening to this before Judas and Maiden and ACDC....got weened on stuff like this....
What a great great song off a LONG LOST & FORGOTTEN album Hair of the Dog! If you grew up in the late 70's as a teen and were into rock music, EVERYONE had a copy of Hair of the Dog! Boy Manny Charlton sure could make that slide just scream! That band was never the same the day after he left!
+LesSmith- Amen to that brother , born in 1966 , late 70's and all of the 80's was a great time in my life , then I got married. No regrets but a real buzz kill on my partying. Oh well I guess 10 or 12 years was enough. (I WANNA GO BACK.)
Was the first album I made out to! LOL 1979
Stephanie Hammond - Wait what , is that you Stephanie , yeah that was me in 79" you're still as hot now as you were back then!!
Good genes?
LesSmith45 yup remember it well an 8 track Columbian bud and some rainier beer, good ol days.
2018. Anyone still listening?
Me almost daily!
Me.
I am.
Dinah Collins
Still listening in 2019 fucking amazing band, how these guys weren’t massive is sad. Massive to me though ❤️🎸
2019 old man yes! but ready to the rock
One the most unique voices EVER!
Such bad ass song. This entire album was legend.
Even if they were lipsyncing... as the track fades out, how awkward.
Nossa esse Dan canta muito, sensacional interpretação nesse show, maravilha, adoro demais!!!
VAMOS LOS AÑOS 70 DE NAZARETH FABULOSOS 8/1/23 ANGI
Para SEMPRE Naza
ESTOU AQUI ANJINHO MARAVILHOSO! LINDA MUSICA AMOR DA MINHA VIDA***S***
Love his voice. Love their sound, it's so....Raw! Can't find other words to describe it.

If you can't find the words . The music is doing all the talking.
You're so beautiful and delicious
Yes Ma'am! Most definitely concur with Mistress! God bless you and yours! Luv ya!
One of my favourite songs to listen to every day since I first heard it! Rock on Dan!!
I was 13 years old. It was, and it is still, in my mind and heart GREAT Song. Symbol, BRIDGE behind Classic Rock, modern Heavy Rock, also Rock and Punk Rock. Great Underrated album, no more to say about "Please, don't Judas Me". Masterpiece. Thx to You Tube, thx to clip pictures, memories.
"Nazareth" - It's a genre all its own.
This album !

For 1975, this record was Unbelievable!!!.....Still one of the Best EVER!!!!
Great band....I love the line in this song "if you told the truth , I can't remember " ♡♡♡♡
Why can't we get more powerfull music like this anymore!!! Just Brilliant.
I’ve been a fan since 1974!👍👌
Saw them in San Juan Capistrano some years ago. sat at the edge of the stage in front of the guitar player(Not Manny Charlton), Shook all their hands and got the only guitar pick he had. A medium nylon Dunlap. Hells Angels were there. It was a night to remember....................:)
Vamos DAN NO ME DEJES DE MIRAR EL PARTIDO
Still a great song....and fun to watch. Def worth the price of admission.
May 26,2020 and still love it!!!
Dan tá muito lindo ! Coisa linda do mundo !👏👏👏😀
must hear LP. hair of the dog. Real Power. oh, I like this Halestorm ,& they're filling a need to keep rock alive, but this is the formula right here...
Definitely not live singing. This is my FAVORITE Nazareth song though. Should have been a huge song. Many good songs off of hair of the dog. Also check out the album No mean City for a similar dark basic Hard Rock sound.
One bad ass song. Drums and guitar riff are awesome. Love nazereth
Still my favorite cut on this phenomenal album!!
Love it...The Voice, that never dies... Dan and the Boys in the Band...
I started my live in rock in roll with this album
nice sound for a live gig, started rocking to Nazareth in "72. still jamming to them, reminds me of 8-track tapes......
IN 1994 I WAS WORKING IN RWANDA AS AN AID-WORKER DURING THE GENOCIDAL WAR THERE AND I GOT ROBBED. All my music cd's were stolen, except for this Nazareth cd, which was all I had left to listen to. So every time I hear this song it reminds me of the Rwandan genocide. True story. The end.
What was your job in Rwanda ?
Its really amazing to see how such great raw hard rock was valued on tv and radio back in the day. Bands like Nazareth carried real grit and attitude. Radio stations today would reject this on the basis of being too fuckin heavy.
Good to have the excellent sound quality with an old live video. It's not lip sync; it's just hard to find the old videos with high quality sound. Good Job!
+Bob Rhonda It's CLEARLY lip-synch. It's the audio track from the album.
It was great music my older brother had this album back in the day and more. Lost him in 1977 broken heart ever since.
Brian Johnson is so lucky the Young bros were as young as they were, this Dude has the original voice!
A hit of blotter acid, agood pioneer stereo and this album at full blast, makes your mind expand missing the 70s
still a bad ass group after all these years
+cliff lynch yues
I love the way he does the slide guitar solo. Complete with Boone's Farm shirt, too!
Saw them in 75 in live in Detroit. That rocked the place. They do not make music like this anymore.
10/02/22 QUE LINDO FOFINHO DA HELENA! MARAVILHOSO DEMAIS LINDA MUSICA MEU TESOURO!!! **************
Man I almost forgot about this band, but I was really into this shit when I was a kid. Very heavy song at the time. They bridged the gap of early metal like Sabbath but still rock/ hard rock.
Wow it's great to find something like this now so many years later even it is just lip-sync TV. These guys were one of my absolute favorites back then and I played the hair of the dog album over and over.
fuck yes still listning.no body today can touch this fucking shit .heavy heavy to heavy for todays candy ass radio stations .raw pure sound like screams straight out of hell .
2020 and I'm still here and their Music is as good today as it was then.......thats what LEGEND is made of......
My All time favorite band. RIP Jeff Jacoby
Another brilliant song from the best
I've been listening to this album on a regular basis since it's release in 75. One of the best hard rock albums ever. Don't forget "Changin Times" either...
Todd Stailey nor beggers day!
This concert was 1 of my best concerts I ever attended, it totally rocked! Love all of Nazarath's music they have some great Albums that are must own.. These guys still play today \m/
Grunge Girl That audience was missery
Grunge Girl close enough, razamanazz, expect no mercy,no mean city, rampant, playin the game!
Ti amo
Holy shit! Why have I never heard this song? You only hear like two songs from Nazareth on the radio.
Same with all the other greats as well. When they play Black Sabbath it's either Iron Man or Sweet Leaf... Where's Snowblind or Planet Caravan? They've worn Led Zepplin's and Pink Floyd's welcome out all together! I'm appreciative of radio stations that still play classic rock but geez... Let's hear J Geils Must have got lost instead of Angel in the Centerfold. How about Danzig How the gods kill or Twist of Cane instead of Mother? There was sooo many more great songs on those old albums other than those 2-3 staple top40 songs. Pisses me off lol
Hell yeah.
that was the whole problem, love hurts and hair of the dog. nothing else. get the albums- razamanaz, close enough for rock and roll, loud n proud, playin the game, rampant, hair of the dog, malice in wonderland, fool circle, its naz and no mean city
Seasons of whether... Aroesmith
Check out Beggars' Day by Nazareth
This band influenced so many bands
QUE BELO SHOW SUPER MARAVILHOSO. !!! ****************
Manny is Great here. The Way he changes between The Gibson and the Stratocaster..... SLIDE riff Solo...... And Dan!
My favorite by these guys, totally rocks!
ONE OF THE GREATEST PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE !
this song is great . its my all time favorite from Nazareth
Back in the seventies I saw them in Chicago a few times. Yes, back in the day when rock n roll was growing very strong. Great band as well as many others back in the seventies.
wish they would play this on the radio instead of wearing out the only two they play from nazareth
I know, all i hear is this flight tonight and razamanaz.
acdc ! Fuck, since when? I've never heard anything but hair and love hurts for 45 years
Charles Silvers I've said that a thousand times over the years
maybe i your area, thats the only two songs my local station plays.
I saw these guys perform live back in the day several times and they kicked ass from start to stop. One of my favorite bands and one ass kicking song. I have to say this sounds like the studio version. But I'm here to tell you they could damn sure rock the house live. Long live Nazareth!!!
So did I. 3 different times & they were AWWWsome. Don McCafferty had an Awwsome voice. But, they just Flat our ROCKED!! Long live the 70s
I saw them 5 times! The last one front row in a small club !
it IS the studio version. it's dubbed over. 2 guitars during the lead
You guys were lucky i was just a little too young to see some great bands. My brother five years older than me saw all the great bands the lucky bastard.
I discovered Nazareth by their song "Love Hurts". Boy, was I mistaken. Needless to say, I don't listen to that song anymore, too many other songs that define the group.
Live Hurts actually isn't even their song. It's a cover. Its also the only song of theirs to ever be a hit in the US
wow! thanx for sharing..I never imagined there would come a day when I could see nazareth do this song live..if he isnt lip=syncing then what a performance of a great heavy metal song!!
Thank you. Old, good times of rock.
Now thats fucking Rock.. love Nazaeth!
Super!!!
My wife needs to hear this song.
+Oscar Lewis- I hear ya, GET OUT QUICK!!!! go for a pack of smokes and never look back.
don't you love her so much?))
Damn good song wish my ex would let me Be
oh shit. Do you wanna be dead??!
Is she a "Whiskey Drinkin' Woman"?
Amazing Live Performance!!!!!
DIOS DE LA VOZ querido DAN
Undoubtedly one of the most greatest rock songs ever!!!
