Russia has the world's largest nuclear force and the most powerful hydrogen bombs, plus China has the world's largest industrial manufacturing capacity and the largest military personnel potential.
As can be seen in the Ukraine, the Western military power has not amounted to anything decisive.

The military might of the US is not unparallel, having a bigger budget doesn't mean that their military is superior. In fact, Russia and China's military are much more high tec and advanced, they have hypersonic missiles that cannot be intercepted. They have AI and GPS 6G technology that is superior. They have electronic jamming devices that could jam the military electronics of the US. That is why NATO and Washington cannot defeat Putin in Ukraine, NATO had already applied its most sophisticated weapons and they are losing the war in a bad way. Another case is the Israeli-Palestinian war, the Israeli so-called impregnable Iron dome anti-missile system were helpless against HAMAS missiles. Military technology in the west apart from other scientific fields has suffered a brain drain mainly from Chinese scientist who went back to China. The main reason there is no real scientific breakthroughs in the west and especially the military and future wars will prove it that NATO and the US cannot win wars against China or Russia, its a myth and their military experts know it. The wars are partly to extract more taxpayers money for the elites and to sell their arms to vulnerable countries who are occupied, propping up the Military Industrial complex.
Russia is past just wanting a land corridor to Crimea: they now want a full buffer zone to prevent longer range missiles being a threat. They need that buffer to essentially include all the land east of the Dnieper.

Actually Russia wants NATO to go back to where it was in 1997 which is very good for us in Slovakia as this would mena liberation from satanic cult called NATO.
